Shaikh ul Islam is a title that no one can prescribe for himself. This given by collective agreement of ulema of the time to someone. Not sure who has given this title to Tahir ul Qaadri I do not know if any Barelvi scholar of repute has greed to this title Deobandis are also out of it. So how can you call him Shaikhul Islam??

If you don't know anything in this regard then please don't bother to give decisive comment. Title "Shaikh Ul Islam" is not given to someone based on collective agreed upon position about him. In fact, we can find many islamic scholars attributed with this title due to their extraordinary work by the people who have respect for them regardless of deobandi, Barailvi or Ahle Hadith affiliation. Just to give you an example, Shaykh Ibn e Taymiyya is also attributed with this title despite of the fact that many great scholars refuted him in his time and afterwards.

I agree with you.. i do not know allot of people here just criticizes.. he is shaikh ul islam or not but i know he has much more knowledge then us . he spent whole life to search knowledge.. we must look what we are and then we are able to say about him or any other person. many of us still cannot perform Namaz perfectly.. i am sure..

Where was Tasawwaf concept during Pophet Muhammad (Sallah-o-Aleihey Wasallam)? did he ever practice this (never) and how come these Westernised Molvi bring their code of Islam.

Ahmed bhai we ought not be that critical of Sufism, I know many of it's essential tenets and rituals are varying from Islamic teachings, but at the heart of it, Sufism's main function is development of sincerity and purification of heart, and I know also that we don't need a segregated group nor their self-fashioned methodologies (tareeqas) for tazkiyai-i nafs but that (tazkiyai-i nafs) is something they confess to and we can respect at least their will (niyah) insofar as tasfiyah is concerned. Nevertheless, larger portion of what Sufism comprises of is pure heresy.

Quran did not use the word "Shaheed" in the meaning we use for our heroes. Similarly "Tsawwaf" not mentioned in Quran but the teaching of Islam exit in Tsawwaf, Muhammad SAW did not accumulate any wealth, a fundamental of Tsawwaf.

This year international terrorism is high on its agenda. WEF will discuss ways of combating international terrorism with experts on Thursday 27 January 2011.
For the first time a leading personality from the Muslim world has been invited to speak at the WEF. The founder of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will speak at the World Economic Forum on the topic The Reality of Terrorism.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri will discuss root causes of international terrorism as well as in Pakistan and other countries and present solutions which can be utilised to demolish terrorist narrative.
Dr Qadri will also have various close-door meetings with foreign leaders, diplomats and experts.
