Brother Murshad Jee, you have no right to label me as "wahabi". Do you have ilm ul Gaib??

Furthermore, I find you very abusive so unless you behave like an educated person, please do not expect any response from me.

Assalam o Alaikum

I am very sorry if I said something wrong BUT when it comes to Mere Piyaaray Aaqa Muhammed (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) then WALLAH I could't control myself.
because you were changing the words of Hadith-e-Mubarika (Sahih Bukhari Book #87, Hadith #122) from WILL SEE into HAD SEEN in your conclusion and claiming that (Ma'Az ALLAH) satan can claim himself as Piyaray Aaqa Muhammed (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) in any saint shape in someone's dream.............................(Astagh-fir-Ullah)

And as per your first question.............................(Astagh-fir-Ullah) I never claimed that I have Ilm-ul-Ghaib but calling you "Wahabi" is a guess after seeing your baseless conclusions and resemblance with them.

If you are not Wahabi..............................Then I am really very sorry to calling you a Wahabi (Najdi).

Hope you'll accept my apology.

So what happened to the video??? I think everyone went into a wrong discussion here. The question was should we believe anyone who says he saw The Holy Prophet MUHAMMAD SAW in his dream?? Most of the liars have always started their fitna by saying they The Holy Prophet SAW in their dreams and were instructed to do so and so and most of them were found to be utter lies. If Tahirul Quadri did see The Holy Prophet and he was honest in what he said in the video, then why take the video out????

Brother this is age of internet & computers.. I think MINHAJUL QURAN INT doesnot know its power, they have to spend more time to hunt & block all similar videos.
About your point why they have blocked it, i think THERE IS GHULOO ELEMENT involved thats why they have blocked it.. Now they cant afford any problems due to these old movies as they r getting fame.. I may be wrong as ALLAH knows best.. But we should always keep in mind that there should be EXTRA CAUTION when discussing dreams specially seeing Hazrat Mohammad PBUH.. Even we should not discuss normal good dreams with every one as clearly explained in hadith..
Please dont take me wrong & thanks for understanding. Jaza-k-ALLAH..

One of the biggest problems with the Internet is that anyone can write anything regardless of whether it is correct or not. Many posters on this forum have written ignorantly about topics they clearly are unqualified to speak about.

Sayyidi Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri (hfizahullh) is an authority in the Dn and not a bogus unqualified speaker out to impress the unaware. Sayyidi Shaykh-ul-Islam has ijzas to relate Hadth from the authorities before him and isn’t someone who is self taught. Reading books is not a substitute for learning them from authorities who learnt them from their teachers, and they from their teachers with an unbroken chain of authorities back to the early Imms. One can be an atheist and quote the Book of Allh and Hadth but it takes a real authority to understand it.

Sayyidi Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Prof Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri narrates from al-Imm Ahmad ibn Hanbal (radiyallhu `anhu) via an unbroken chain of authority:
- From ash-Shaykh `Alaw ibn `Abbs al-Mlik (the father of ash-Shaykh Muhammad `Alaw al-Mlik);
- Who from Muhaddith al-Haramayn `Umar ibn Hamdn al-Mahris;
- Who from ash-Shaykh Ahmad ibn Ism`l al-Barzanj;
- Who from ash-Shaykh Ahmad ibn Zayn Dahln;
- Who from ash-Shaykh `Uthmn ibn Hasan ad-Dimyt;
- Who from al-Imm Ab `Abdullh Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Amr al-Kabr al-Misr;
- Who from ash-Shaykh Abil-Hasan `Al ibn Ahmad al-`Adaw as-Sa`d al-Misr;
- Who from ash-Shaykh Muhammad ibn `Uqayla al-Makk;
- Who from ash-Shaykh Hasan ibn `Al al-`Ujaym;
- Who from ash-Shaykh Safiyyuddn Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Qashsh al-Madan;
- Who from ash-Shaykh Shamsuddn ibn Ahmad ar-Raml;
- Who from ash-Shaykh al-Qd Zakariy ibn Muhammad al-Ansr;
- Who from al-Hfiz ash-Shihb Ahmad ibn Hajar al-`Asqaln;
- Who from ash-Shaykh as-Slih ibn Ab `Umar al-Maqdis;
- Who from ash-Shaykh Fakhruddn `Al ibn Ahmad al-Bukhr;
- Who from ash-Shaykh Ab `Al Hanbal ibn `Abdullh ibn al-Faraj al-Makbar;
- Who from Abil-Qsim Hibatullh ibn Muhammad ibn `Abdul-Whid ash-Shaybn;
- Who from Ab `Al al-Hasan ibn `Al at-Tamm;
- Who from Ab Bakr Ahmad ibn Ja`far ibn Hamdn al-Qat`;
- Who from `Abdullh ibn Ahmad ibn Hanbal;
- Who from his father al-Imm Ahmad ibn Hanbal ash-Shaybn [164-241] (radiyallhu `anhu).

This Imm Ahmad ibn Hanbal (radiyallhu `anhu) narrates the following two narrations:

حدثناعبداللهحدثنيأبيثناعبدالصمدقالثناحمادعنثابتعنأنسقال Y كانتالحبشةيزفنونبينيديرسولاللهصلىاللهعليهوسلمويرقصونويقولونمحمدعبدصالحفقالرسولاللهصلىاللهعليهوسلممايقولونقالوايقولونمحمدعبدصالح

Anas ibn Mlik (radiyallhu `anhu) said that the Abyssinians (Habashs) danced in front of the Messenger of Allh (sallallhu `alayhi wa sallam); DANCING (yarquSn/raqS) while saying “Muhammad is a Righteous Servant (Muhammadun `Abdun Slih)” (in their dialect/language). Allh’s Messenger (sallallhu `alayhi wa sallam) asked, “What are they saying?” And they responded, “Muhammadun ‘Abdun Slih!”.
(Ahmad ibn Hanbal, al-Musnad (Beirut: Dr Sdir), 3:152, #12564; Ahmad ibn Hanbal, al-Musnad (Cairo: Mu’assasat Qurtuba), 3:152, #12562)

This has been narrated with a chain of transmission all of whose narrators are those of Bukhari except Hammad ibn Salama, who is one of the narrators of Muslim.

Related to this, Imm Ahmad ibn Hanbal also reports the following in his "Musnad":

حدثناعبداللهحدثنيأبيقالثناسليمانبنداودقالثناعبدالرحمنيعنيبنأبيالزنادعنهشامبنعروةعنأبيهعنعائشةقالت Y وضعرسولاللهصلىاللهعليهوسلمذقنيعلىمنكبيهلأنظرإلىزفنالحبشةحتىكنتالتيمللتفانصرفتعنهم

“`’isha stated that Allh’s Messenger (sallallhu `alayhi wa sallam) put her cheek on his shoulder while looking at the Abyssinians (Habashs) dance.”
(Ahmad ibn Hanbal, al-Musnad (Cairo: Mu’assasat Qurtuba), 6:116, #24898)

Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal (rahmahullh) himself said about the Sfs:
"I don't know people better than them." Someone said to him: "They listen to music and they reach states of ecstasy." He said: "Do you prevent them from enjoying an hour with Allh?"
(Muhammad ibn Ahmad as-Saffarn al-Hanbal (died 1188) who related in his Ghidha' al-albab li-sharh manzumat al-adab from Ibrahim ibn `Abd Allah al-Qalanasi) (Cairo: Matba`at al-Najah, 1324/1906)

So Sayyidi Shaykh-ul-Islam is linked via chains of authority back to Sayyidunal-Imm Ahmad ibn Hanbal (rahmahullh) and from him to the Sahba (radiyallhu `anhum) Habashs who danced in front of the Holy Prophet (sallallhu `alayhi wa lih wa sallam). Obviously, those who have no such linkage to the blessed Messenger of Allh (sallallhu `alayhi wa lih wa sallam) will say whatever comes to their mind because they are disconnected from classical Islm.

Please keep in mind while discussing religious Islamic issues. Following are the Six Books of Hadith (Al-Kutub al-Sittah) - popular name: Saha Sitta

- Sahih al-Bukhari
- Sahih Muslim
- Sunan an-Nasa'i al-Sughra
- Sunan Abu Dawood
- Sunan al-Tirmidhi
- Sunan ibn Majah

The two most highly respected collections of hadith are the authenticated collections the Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.

Four other collections came to be well-respected, although not to the degree of Bukhari and Muslim's sahih collections.

These four other collections are the Sunan of Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, Ibn Majah, and Abu Da'ud.

This is an extremely ignorant comment to make. NO ONE in the history of Islm including Imm al-Bukhr and Imm Muslim ever said that sahh Hadths were only found in Sahh al-Bukhr and Sahh Muslim. This is a new bid`a which this “pakistani1947” character has made up. We prefer following the rules laid down for the past 1400 years than wannabe ignorant Internet Mlws.

Sahh Hadths are found in all of the hundreds of Hadth collections that are available. There is complete agreement among all scholars on this so please stop spreading your innovations.

Dr. Bilal Philips's Article on Seeing the Prophet (saw) in a Dream

...
Any visions of the Prophet (pbuh) in the waking state would no doubt be Satanic appartitions, regardless of the outcome. During the Prophets (pbuh) miraculous journey to Jerusalem and into the heavens, Allah did show him a number of the former Prophets and Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) communicated with them. Those who claim to see the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) in the waking state, in fact, attempt to elevate themselves to his level, since none of the companions or the early generation of the righteous scholars made such claims for themselves. And the Prophet (pbuh) dubbed them the best of generations.

The people (or person?) calling himself khalid100 and pakistani1947 are writing things against Islm displaying ignorance about Islam again yet to promote their own false agendas against Sayyidi Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri (hfizahullh). I think this Mr Bilal Philips is the first person in the history of Islam who denied that the Messenger of Allh (sallallhu `alayhi wa lih wa sallam) could be recognised in a dream. This might have been his innovation which the person calling himself pakistani1947 is following, wal-`iydhubillh.

Whilst it is true that such a vision is not definite, who are you to question it, especially from someone who has never been known to lie?!

Those were beautiful examples given by the Arab shaykh showing how one sees the blessed Messenger (`alayhis-saltu was-salm) msh’Allh.

You can also hear something similar in English on the following video:

You should know that the people who originally spread these videos were out to slander and defame the name of Sayyidi Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri (hfizahullh). This topic had been dealt with almost 15 years ago with all of the slanderers thoroughly refuted and silenced. So Im just a little surprised that their cut and clip works are now being promoted by certain characters.

Dream (ruy) is one thing, while its meaning (ta`br) is something different. The producer of the cut and clip video worked with some secret agencies firstly to steel the original video and secondly to cut bits and pieces to make to sound wrong. Inn lillhi wa inn ilayhi rji`n.

The following is a brief overiew on this topic.

Fabricating a dream, saying, action or anything about the Holy Prophet (sallallhu `alayhi wa sallam), is kufr. However, denying the righteous dream is also considered to be kufr!

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri:
I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "A good dream is a part of the forty six parts of prophetism."
(al-Bukhr, as-Sahh, Kitbut-ta`br, Bb ar-Rutas-slihatu juzun min sittatin wa arba`na juzan min-nubuwwa, 9:30, #6987)

Imm Ibn Srn and al-`Allma `Abdul-Ghan an-Nbuls stated in Kitbur-Ruy and Ta`trul-anm:
Whoever does not believe in the righteous dream, he indeed does not believe in Allh and the khira.

The Prophet (sallalahu alaihi wa sallam) also commented on the subject of which dreams were the best of all dreams:
The best of all dreams, said the Prophet (sallalahu alaihi wa sallam), are the ones where you see your Lord, or your Prophet, or your Muslim parents.
(Akili, Ibn Seerins Dictionary of Dreams (Pearl Publishing House. Philadelphia. 1992), p.xix)

Dreams certain are used for guidance!

Narrated Abu Huraira:
I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "Nothing is left of the prophetism except Al-Mubashshirat." They asked, "What are Al-Mubashshirat?" He replied, "The true good dreams (that conveys glad tidings)."
(al-Bukhr, as-Sahh, Kitbur-ruy, Bb al-Mubashshirt, #6990)

Imm al-Bukhr (rahmahullh) has fixed an entire chapter: Bb Man raan-nabiyya sallallhu `alayhi wa sallama fil-manm. Here, he transmits the following:

Narrated Anas:
The Prophet said, "Whoever has seen me in a dream, then no doubt, HE HAS SEEN ME, for Satan cannot imitate my shape.
(al-Bukhr, as-Sahh, Kitbur-ruya, Bab Man raan-nabiyya sallallhu `alayhi wa salllama fil manm, #6994)

Dreams are mentioned in the Holy Qurn and abundantly in Hadths. The Holy Prophet (sallallhu `alayhi wa sallam) himself used to ask his companions if they had dreams in the presence of others too. He himself would recall his own dreams to his companions.

It is narrated from Samura bin Jundab:
Whenever the Holy Prophet (sallallhu `alayhi wa sallam) finished the (morning) prayer, he would face us and ask, Who amongst you had a dream last night? So if anyone had seen a dream he would narrate it. The Prophet would say: MshAllh (What Allah wished for blessings). One day, he asked us whether anyone of us had seen a dream. We replied in the negative. The Prophet said, "But I had seen (a dream) last night [he then mentioned his dream]
(Bukhr, as-Sahh, Kitbul-Janiz, 2:100-101, #1386)

So he (sallallhu `alayhi wa sallam) PUBLICALLY asked about dreams from his companions and also mentioned his own.

Hadth books are filled with hundreds of dreams of the Sahba, Tbi`n and the righteous so one cannot possibly dare to question mentioning dreams to others. It has also been the habit of the early authorities not only to mention their pious dreams to others but to collect them in independent books! The following are some of these:

* Sayyidun `Al ibn `Uthmn al-Hujwr bil-ma`rf Dt Ganj Bakhsh (quddisa sirruh) mentions his own dreams in his Kashful-mahjb.
* The work Bahjatul-asrr is full of the dreams of Sayyidun Ghawthul-`azam `Abdul-Qdir Jln (quddisa sirruh).
* Shaykh `Abdul-`Azz Dabbgh mentioned his dreams in al-Ibrz.
* Imm Rabbn Shaykh Ahmad Sirhind mentions his own dreams in his Maktbt.
* Hadrat Shh Waliyullh al-Muhaddith ad-Dehelw wrote a work called ad-Durruth-thamn in which he collected his father, his teachers and his own dreams.

This is just a brief list, the actual list is huge! For those who originally produced this cut and clip video, even scholars from their own school of thought (Deobandi) have written entire books solely on their dreams! The following is a brief list of them:

* Ashraf `Al Thanvs Imddul-mushtq and Hj Imddullh Muhjir Makks (rahmatullhi `alayh) Shamim Imddiyya contain many dreams.
* Ashraf `Al Thanvs Hakyt-e-Awliy contains many dreams of the righteous scholars of the past.
* Ashrafus-siwk mentions the dreams of Mlw Ashraf `Al Thanv himself.
* Tadhkiratur-rashd by Shaykh `shiq Ilh Mrth has a chapter on dreams.
* In Asdaqur-ruy Mlv Ashraf `Al Thanv mentions abundant dreams and their meanings.
* Mawln Muhammad Zakariy Kndhelv, the founder of Tablgh Jam`at mentioned his own personal dreams and their meanings in his books, Mahbbul-`rifn and Tuhfatul-qulb.

However, dream is one thing and its meaning can be the complete oppersite. Knowing the meanings of dreams is a science on its own ta`brur-ruy which only the experts in the field know. Books have also been written on this topic, such as Tahqqur-ruy by Hadrat Shh `Abdul-`Azz al-Muhaddith ad-Dehelw (rahmahullh). NONE of the known experts in this field have ever cast doubts or spread rumours about Sayyidi Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadris dreams. It goes to show that those who are spreading mischief are just fabricating negative propaganda. One cannot attack a dream but they can debate the meanings provided and this is ONLY by the experts in this field.

Imm Ibn Srn in Kitbur-ruy also states:
If someone dreams that they drank the blood of the Holy Prophet (sallallhu ta`l `alayhi wa lih wa sallam), it can be interpreted two ways:
1. If he sees himself drinks with excitement, enjoyment and in secret, then he will fight in jihd and die a martyre.
2. If he drinks the blessed blood like a recollection then he would die as a munfiq (hypocrite) and would become an enemy and oppresor of the Ahlul-Bayt.

Another clear example:

Umm al-Fadl once came to Allahs Messenger (sallallhu `alayhi wa sallam) and said:
O Allahs Messenger! I saw an awful dream.
He replied:
What was it?
She continued: I saw a cut piece of your body fall into my lap!
Allahs Messenger said: You have seen good. Ftima will give birth to a son insh-Allh, and you shall take him in your lap. Later on Ftima gave birth to al-Husayn and was put in her lap.

[al-Hkim states:] This Hadth is sahh according to the conditions of the Shaykhayn (both Bukhr and Muslim) but they hadnt reported it.
(al-Hkim, al-Mustadrak, Kitb: Ma`rifa as-Sahba (radiyallhu `anhum), Awwal fadil Ab `Abdullh al-Husayn ibn `Al ash-Shahd (radiyallhu ta`l `anhum) ibn Ftima bint Raslallh (sallallhu `alayhi wa sallam wa `al lih), #4818); al-Hkim, al-Mustadrak (Dr al-Haramayn lit-tab`a wan-nashr wat-tawz`, Muqbil Wada` Ed. (da`f) 1997/1417), 3:210, #4884; al-Bayhaq, Dalil an-Nubuwwa (Beirut: Dr al-kutub al-`ilmiyya), 1405), 6:469; at-Tabarn, al-Mu`jam al-kabr, #19760)

The same is mentioned in brief in many other Hadth collections with authentic chains:

Umm al-Fadl said:
I saw [in a dream] a piece of the body of Allahs Messenger (sallallhu `alayhi wa sallam) in my house. She continues I was greaved and came to the Messenger of Allah (sallallhu `alayhi wa sallam) mentioning that to him. He said,
It is good. Ftima will give birth to a boy
(Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Musnad Ahmad (Cairo: Muassasa Qurtuba), 6:339, #26917; Tabarn, al-Mu`jamul-kabr, 3:20, #2526; Tabarn, al-Mu`jamul-kabr, 3:20, #2541; Tabarn, ad-Du`, #550; Ab Ya`la, Musnad Abu Ya`la (Damascus: Dr Mamn lit-turth, 1984/1404), #7074; Ibn Abid-Duny, an-Nafaqa `alal-iyl, 2:198, #662; Ab Nu`aym, Akhbr Asbahn, 1:29)

These two examples should be enough to clarify the point I am trying to make.

Now let us mention some of the dreams of the scholars to which the producers of the cassette against Sayyidi Shaykh-ul-Islam belong. They will only be mentioned without explanation according to them or the authorities:

1. In Mubshshart Drul-`ulm Deoband, page 35 a dream of Mlv Qsim Nntw is narrated by Qr Muhammad Tayyid that Nntw Shib said, I dreamt that I was standing on the roof of the Ka`ba and from below my feet streamlets are coming out and spreading all over the world.

2. In this very book page 53-54, Qr Muhammad Tayyid relates his own dream that upon reaching sanctified abode of the Holy Prophet (sallallhu `alayhi wa sallam), he sees that Drul-`ulm Deoband has been established on the roof of Masjid an-Nab!?

3. On page 63 of this very book, Mlv Qsim Nntw mentions his own dream that, It though I was sitting on the lap of Allh Ta`l (gy Allh ta`l ki gd me bth h)!

I wont make any mention of what these dreams actually mean or what explanations the writers gave. You can do the research yourselves to find out what they mean.

Lastly, Im not the sort of person who quotes fancy stories or here say. I say this due to what I am now mentioning next.

It has been related to me [Rafiq] directly by as-Sayyid Munawwar Husayn Bukhari, once at his masjid in Blackburn and the second time at Min Sharf on the occasion of Hajj in Saudi Arabia 2006, who narrates that he heard directly from his murshid, the great wal, Pr Muhammad Afzal Qdri, that he challenged ALL of the Wahhbs and Deobands of Pakistan who doubted the dreams of Prof Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to a public mubhala (open cursing upon the liar). No one accepted the challenge and since Sayyidi Shaykh-ul-Islams reply to this cut and clip video, they have since become silence. Let us not bring out those items which had been answered and refuted a long time ago again lest we become a means of was-wasa (whisperings of the shaytn).

Allhu Akbar!
Y Raslallh (sallallhu ta`l `alayhi wa lih wa sallam)!

Ma`as-salma

In reality, Muslims are facing countless problems in this era and we are way behind in scientific research, education, and so forth but instead of working for better prospect of this Ummah, Some fitna mongers are busy in creating hatred within Muslims in daily basis.

May Allah give us wisdom to work for Unity of Ummah.

Brothers I understand that all of you are very emotionally charged but let me try to explain:

WE DO NOT SAY THAT YOU CANNOT SEE THE HOLY PROPHET HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW IN YOUR DREAMS. OF COURSE YOU CAN. ISSUE IS IF THE PERSON WHO SAID HE SAW IS REALLT BEING HONEST. AS FAR AS TAHIR UL QUADRI IS CONCERNED I WOULD SAY THAT HE IS LYING. OTHERWISE WHY WOULD HE HAVE THE VIDEO REMOVED??? YOU ALL KEEP INSISTING THAT ONE CAN SEE AND I CONCUR BUT I AM CALLING TH A LIAR. IN THIS SAME FORUM SOMEONE POSTED ABOUT MUSIC BEING HARAM. I DID NOT SEE ANY ONE SAY THAT HE IS WRONG AND MUSIC (GANA BAJANA) IS HALAL. BUT TH SAYS LOVES TO LISTEN TO NUR JAHAN AND NUSRAT FATEH ALI. DON'T TELL ME IT IS HALAL FOR HIM BUT NOT FOR ORDINARY MUSLIMS???

It seems like that you have not followed this thread from beginning that is why you look confuse about the topics discussed in this thread.

Actually, four different threads associated with subject related to seeing our beloved Prophet (Salallahu Alaihi Wassallam) in dream have been merged into one thread. If you will read from first page till last page, you will notice the duplication of posts of brother Pakistani1947 because he loves to do copy-past same material in different threads. Indeed, Brother Azhar started the another thread to prove that it is not possible to see our beloved Prophet (Salallahu Alaihi Wassallam) in dream after companion's period and I had discussed with him about the article which he presented about his claim.

Before accusing Sheikh Tahir Ul Qadri, It would have been better if you have watched the videos of his response long time ago about dreams which I have provided in my earlier post in this thread.

Anyway, Please let me know after watching the videos about your stance regarding the subject.

Thanks a lot brother Rafiq for this great article and increasing us in our Iman.

Hopefully now this hatred and false propaganda against Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri comes to it's death.

pak1947 became forceful 'mufti' when I said that alhamdulillah I have dreamed of aqa (s.a.w) 5 times - Ibrahim and Musa (as) once each. It burnt 1947, he became jealous LOL

Well Allah knows all the truth . If u had seen Aqa (saw) in your dream you should not boost yourself. You should have shown modesty( ijz o inkasaari). My knowledge about this issue is 0/0 so i don't want to be a part of argument on this issue of dream .But as far as Dr Tahir ul Qadri is concerned i have a lot of reservation about him. He is a Drama Queen . He is filthy rich as all his mureedin send him a lot of charity all over the world. We need to be carefull about Ulma e Su. The way he described his dream it looks a man made story. He is stressing on air ticket and money . Absolute Halwa Khor Moulvi
