As elections are approaching, dramatic changes are taking place in AJ&K politics. Formation of PML-N in AJ&K has totally changed the whole political scenario. Majority of people who joined PML-N are Member of Legislative assembly and elected under the leadership of Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, current PM of AJ&K. They were ticket holder of Muslim Conference.
Majority of people are asking questions from PML-N Leader Mian Nawaz Sharif why he launched PML-N in AJ&K? People are asking because they have concerns. They understand that division of Muslim Conference would be a clear message for PPP to clean sweep upcoming elections. People of AJ&K know that PML-N has supported PPP in Pakistan in difficult times and now made easy for PPP in AJK to win elections which are taking place in July 2011.
There are many concerns on the credibility of PML-N leaders. People like Sardar Skandar and Farooq Haider spent their whole life in enjoying benefits from Muslim Conference. Sardar Skandar enjoyed president ship and premiership of AJ&K by using Muslim Conference. Everybody knows that he did politics on personal benefits. He did nothing special for betterment of public in his premiership or president ship. Farooq Haider was elected prime minister under the leader ship of Sardar Attique and when he lost his job he changed him self and became leader of PML-N in AJ&K. Is it not a politics for personal benefit?
I am really unable to understand the thinking of Mian Nawaz Sharif and other senior leadership of PML-N in doing all this. They have favored Lota crasy (Horse trading) in Punjab and did same thing in AJ&K. People are really confused and ask questions from Nawaz Sharif. If he has inducted people like Sardar Skandar and Farooq Haider in PML-N why he is not accepting Choudhry Shujhat and Other members of PML-Q? Was there any difference? Why Nawaz Sharif forgot that Sardar Skandar was favorite person of Agencies and Gen Musharaf in 2001 when he became Prime minister of AJ&K.
I will conclude by saying that Formation of PML-N has made it easier for PPP to win upcoming elections and secondly PML-N has promoted Lota crasy in AJ&K.
