Faisalabad police save suspected robbers from lynch mob

FAISALABAD: An enraged mob in Faisalabad on Sunday attempted to lynch two alleged robbers, and retaliated against police officials who recovered the injured robbers from the crowd.

The protesters demanded the police hand over the robbers, claiming that the police would not provide justice. Citizens claimed the robbers were caught red-handed in a crowded market place.

According to eyewitnesses, the robbers entered a store and pulled out a gun on the shopkeeper. When the shopkeeper refused to cooperate with them, they shot at the man and tried to get away from the spot.

The enraged citizens then caught and beat up the robbers, but were prevented from lynching them by police who arrived on the scene.

The mob surrounded the police vehicle containing the injured suspects and refused to leave the area for some time, demanding “immediate justice”.

Not in favor of this sort of "immediate justice" but on the other hand that "never happening justice" will anybody be stand by that... where no clues no witnesses nothin ... where M qadari is still sitting and waiting for the govt to be changed or the govt is waiting for time to be changed.... i always have serious concerns about this so called independent judiciary where rangers personals case is to be finished within a month as per SC's directive but right under the nose of SC in ISB not a single verdict is giving against corrupt politicians... nor anything is done yet to force the implementation of the SC directives in cases like NRO or Swiss accounts... who will be against SC if today Y R Gilani will be charged for contempt of court for not writing letter to Swiss Govt:

well don,t know what to say but 1 thing is sure that if these culprit come again on the streets then people r absolutely right bcoz sometime police leave them bcoz som1 call them or these culprit will offer something for there freedom ... so whatever happening here bcoz of police if police start catching criminals & giving justice depends on their crimes (clap)(clap)(clap)then 100% sure that people will also change their behavior towards police but again this is depend on police
