Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on Friday filed two adjournment motions in the National Assembly.
The adjournment motions were filed by PML-N members of the National Assembly, Rana Mahmoodul Hassan, Mrs Nisar Tanveer, Malik Shakir Bashir Awan, Nighat Parveen Mir, Majeed Khan and Shireen Arshad Khan.
The first motion condemned the drone attack in North Waziristan on a tribal jirga in which 40 people were killed. The motion stated that every Pakistani was grieved over the mass killings.
The second motion stated that cut in oil supply to the Pakistan Railways has led to the closure of train service in various parts of the country. The train service from Quetta has been suspended due to which thousands of travellers are facing difficulties.
The resolution said that the routine business of the National Assembly should be stopped to discuss these two serious issues.
