Asim Munir has been selected as COAS of Pakistan - a nuclear capable country’s armed forces. There are a number of concerns related to his capabilities for the JOB.
1- His retirement was deferred by a week to appoint him (against the rules) as COAS. So legally he assumed the position as an ex- army officer;
2- He was appointment with the consent of Nawaz Shrief who is convicted and not eligible to hold any public office anymore;
3- His appointment was bargained with an oath/ commitment to reinstate Nawaz Shrief into power; revert all his crimes and charges;
4- Asim Munir is hands in gloves with Bajwa in capital crime in planning conspiracy and executing Regime change in Pakistan and toppled IK govt for their vested interests;
5- Asim Munir resisted and rejected the upcoming elections in Pakistan for unspecified reasons at least for Two Years;
6- He has assumed all authority of the govt while claiming army’s Neutral status;
7- He openly taking sides with Coalition of regime in power and threatening PTI and its supporters;
8- Asim Munir announced to smash any voice questioning the economic melt down of the state due to regime change operation;
9- Asim Munir threatened PTI and public for criticising Army’s activities and policies; His provocative behaviour curtailed freedom of speech; arrested/ kidnapped journalists and civilians demanding their vote of elections; arrested PTI politicians and abducted those getting bail from courts; they have set up a state within the state;
10- Asim refused to help conducting elections and refused to provide manpower for the purpose;
11- The brutalities extended manhandling of women; no one dared before;
12- Asim threatened ex servicemen community to devoid them pensions and facilities;
13- under his instruction 25-70 young people were shot to death and 750 injured.
14- the nuclear Command is in the hand of this unstable person who takes irrational decision, a fear creating concerns to outside works; with a fear being declared as irresponsible nuclear state.
15- they have also reinstated Terrorism factor blaming Zaman Park as its hub; a stigma Pakistan worked hard to erase. World is following carefully the events unfolding and unrest engulfing Pakistan’s security myth.
Under the circumstances Gen Asim Munir appears as unstable, irrational and proactive person holding command of over a half a million of army and other security agencies.
Military support to corrupt mafias is another threat to state stability and security,,,
He is more a Threat than stability and security of Pakistan and must be removed from the position.
