You need to study more about Rohilla Afghans, their history of settlement in Rohilkhund. A famous pashto book tareekh e hafiz rehmat khani was written by a RohillaThis article doesnt have a single reference. Its all wikipedia-based.But as we all know who Bakhat Khan was, i fail to understand why do you link him ultimately to Afghanis/Pashtuns?He was a born Indian. He was born in Rohilkhand, Uttar Pradesh, India. He was raised there and late he served in British Army. Do you mean to say that everybody who has "Khan" before or after his name is Afghani and all his successes should be attributed to Pashtuns or Afghanis living thousands of miles away from him, who he never met in his life even? This is NOT Afghan/Pathan/Pashtun history. This is Indian history and the guy was a born Indian.

Lodhi tribe is also an afghan or Pathan tribe who came to central subcontinent decades ago before the battle of panipat. So indirectly it was Mughal vs AfghansWhat?
Where do Afghans come?
That was a battle between Central Asian Babur who had captured Afghanistan and Ibrahim Lodhi who belonged the Lodhi tribe but his great great gandfather had settled in Multan long before this war.
How can you tag it as "Afghans vs Mughals"?
