The recovery is always painful and yes it will take time.

We hit rock bottom on May 09, but now the cult is contained and its head in prison with no relief in sight.

Technically and economically Pakistan is no way close to Srilanka. Pakistan has not defaulted yet. Pakistan's current account deficiet is in plus. Pakistan is making all their payements on time; no payement missed and there is no chance that it will be missed next few month. Pakistan is under IMF program which means they can easily borrow money from Asian Bank, world bank and other istitutions. Pakistan's close friends Saudia, Qatar, UAE are helping Pakistan whenever it need. The only and biggest concern is inflation and that is causing big unrest. Technically a country is considered bankrupt when they don't make payements to their bonds and Pakistan have paid to bond buyers untill April next year.

The reason there is huge inflation 35-40% YoY is because PDM govt has absolutely failed to perform and taken the country to the verge of default.

Every rating agency downgraded Pakistan, industry tanked, exports tanked unemployment is at its highest & the only way govt could generate revenue is by collecting more money from public through indirect taxes. Pakistan can borrow money techincally only because people will be burdened with even more taxes because of this govts failure.

The day kissan comes out on the street, unable to sustain his expenses, it will be worrisome.

CAD to kabhi issue tha hi nahi IK ki govt ka, they had it under control without doing all this drama. This issue was in 2018 when PMLN almost brought the country on the verge of default due to no reserves and growing CAD.
