Dont like it.....

The faces of characters dont reflect the real passions of true believers....

These r just actors , with bad characters in real life .... how their face could glow with eman , which Sahabah had...


If Turkish could take so extreme cautions , in developing the new generation of builders who build the mosque of Hazrat Rasool e Akram.... how we could afford that a stupid drinker could represent himself as Omar or other Sahabi....

First when i heard about this i was having reservations, how come MBC do it while actors are playing roles of Calips and Sahabas but after watching this i categorize this "Iss se bari Islam ki khidmat iss door main mumkin nahin thi media ke zariya".

We need this series and Alhamdulillah its spreading very fast.

The series is based on the life of Hadrat Omar(RA), the second Caliph of Islam. The series consisted of 30 episodes and was originally aired in the month of Ramadan since July 20, 2012. This series has also been aired in Indonesian national TV in the month of Ramadan (Alhamdulillah). It was made at a cost of 200 million Saudi riyals and filmed in Morocco, mostly in Marakesh, Tangiers,El Jadida, Casablanca and Mohammedia.

After the series was broadcast on MBC Qatar, dubbed into several languages and subtitled in English onYouTube, it received great support from many different scholarly bodies and people watching it. As the series depended solely on reliable historical established facts, the series did not face criticism in terms of its content, as past movies and films faced.




MBC has said the series is the biggest drama production in the history of modern television. It has been marketed globally and the rights to broadcast it have been granted to several television networks around the world, including the Turkish ATV network, which will show it dubbed into Turkish.
