KARACHI: Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Nadeem, who was injured in a drive-by attack on his car in Karachi on Thursday, succumbed to injuries here, Geo News reported Sunday.

He was receiving treatment at a private hospital after he was injured in an attack in Nazimabad near OA Clinic. His son Muawia was killed in the attack.

It should be mentioned that Maulana was en route to City Court to appear before the court, when he was attacked near Annu Bhai Park by armed motorists. He, his three sons and a guard were injured in the attack. All of them were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital; however, his son Muawia succumbed to injuries.

Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat spokesman appealed to the workers to stay peaceful.

The Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) made sketches of the attackers with the help of eyewitnesses and police; the sketches have been handed to the law-enforcers.

The FIR has been registered in Nazimabad police station two days after the incident; however, police did not confirm any arrest whatsoever.

Blood of righteous 'Ulema has become so cheap in Pakistan. There won't even be any effort of calling the assassins to account.

Unfortunately we have been looking the other way while these monsters were made right near our homes. We never expected these people will become monsters and try to devour us all. We are to be blamed; out politicians and our so called ulemas are also reponsible for this state of affair. We have reached such a stage, anybody from outside can kill our people and we have good reason to ourselves. If a Shia dies, its a Sunni; If a Sunni then it must be aShia; If a Pathan dies it must be a Muhajir; If aMuhajir dies then it could be a Punjabi Sindhi or Balouchi, divided into sects and sub-sects. Our inapt leaders be it politicians, Ulema ore Miliatary have no answer to it.

not only maulana ghafoor of sipah e sahab and his son were kiled in karachi that day but international khatam e nabuwwats chief maulana jalaal was also murdered along with son same day in karachi
maulana ghafoor had enemity with a sect which abuses sahaba. because he protested heavily against desecration of two sahaba i.e hazrat umer razialla unhu and hazrat muawiya raziallah unhu by some people in south punjab

and maulana jalaal was arranging a giant anti qadiani meeting in sukkhur area in next few days to expose qadianis.so qadiani lobby killed him before that

in last few days more than ten ulema have been murdered in karachi alone

so anti islam lobby of kufar and munafiq muslims are now target killing every remaining true aalim...this will continue till only munafiq ulema who misguide people remain alive
