I don't think so.
Establishment tried to put a blame on him just like they killed Zilley shah and registered FIR against IK.
Only thing is that he had finally surrendered just like other PTI leaders who are leaving the Party.
He could not sustain pressure or he has starting to believe this setup will stay for longer and only way to survive is to join them.

That's how powerful people do. When ever they kill someone they register a case against anyone who they think can pursue a case. So in Arshad Sharif case they tried to involve both PTI and ARY. In result both backed out and his family is left alone to fight his case.

I have worked for a few channels. Not even one channel is sincere to the work and the power they have. They are just looking for ads and TRP. The reporters are briefed specifically to cover what and what not. It is the Investigative reporters and a handful of journalist who are upto the cause, We have lost our best "Arshad Shareef" who was a brilliant investigative Journalist in Asia. And Now Imran khan is the best at current affairs and analysis, and he too is no where to be found. The rest have sold themselves everynow and then except for a few like Athar Kazmi and Siddique Jaan ...
