BJP leader threatens to behead Karnataka CM if he eats beef

Last week, the Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah had said that nobody could stop him from eating beef, if he wanted to.



Karnataka Chief Minister SiddaramaiahA local BJP leader from Karnataka’s Shivamogga district was arrested on Tuesday for threatening to behead Chief Minister Siddaramaiah if he dared to eat beef.

The former president of the Shivamogga city council, S N Channabasappa (54), was arrested for his remarks on Monday. Last week, the Karnataka CM had said that nobody could stop him from eating beef, if he wanted to. He had followed it up by saying that he would eat pork too.

Reacting to Siddaramaiah’s comments during a protest rally, Channabasappa had said: “You are openly saying that you will eat cow meat. If you have the guts come to Gopi circle and state that you will eat beef. There is no doubt that on that day you will be beheaded…”

On Tuesday, Shivamogga district Congress president Prasa-nna Kumar filed a police complaint. “We registered a criminal case against Channabasappa for threatening the cm. He has been arrested,” Shivamogga sp Ravi

Channabasappa had said: “You are openly saying that you will eat cow meat. If you have the guts come to Gopi circle and state that you will eat beef. There is no doubt that on that day you will be beheaded…”

now imagine if a Muslim leader in Pakistan says that no one can stop him from eating pork. what would the reaction be? in your hatred of India don't forget that people have different cultures in different places

Not it isnt. Your comparison is screwed. India is a secular country and Pakistan's constitution is Islamic. So politicians in India have no business in poking their nose into other peoples religion and FORCING it on them like with what is going on in India right now.

Pakistan despite having an Islamic constitution doesnt force its religion on others as taught by Islam's famous injunction : To each his own religion.

India is a secular country only on paper. in reality it might be more religious than Pakistan.

Exactly !...this is why they need to cut the hypocrisy which is now evident to everyone. In Pakistan this is not going to happen because we have Islam in the constitution so everyone agrees to it !

this is the problem, india never accept its problems, having such kinda terrorists it still blames pakistan for everything. Please have some balls n accept it this is wrong if not then change your constitution n stop labeling your country as a secular country where everyone have equal rights....
