The decline in almost every section of the society which Dr Shahid mentioned during the prologue of this programme was just startling and a real indication of our state of affairs since the so called independence of Pakistan in 1947. How our leaders and other officials are treated and welcomed is also evident the standing we have in the world arena. This lament of decline has become our mantra for the last four decades and as the last 1000 year history suggests the wave of change might again appears from Afghanistan and clear this rot which has contaminated not even our thought process but our morality as well and if this mess continues to sustain its hold in this spurious state then maybe the dismemberment of Pakistan is nigh in coming years.

Just a little correction here, Dr Abdul Salam was not a muslim he was a Qaadaani - Perhaps It was very right to say Frist Pakistani, calling him muslim is little unfair. As a Pakistani We should be ok with him. Like we're ok with everyother nonmuslim cummunity living in pakistan. And we should really encourage them if they achive such a high standards in any field of life.

Offcourse This is Pakistan who has given them a platform to achive whatever they have achived.
