Amid heavy criticism PMLN still took the step to build Islamabad Metro Bus. It was always said that such a mega project should be constructed in a heavily populated city such as Lahore or Karachi. Pakistans metropolis Karachi faces a huge transportation crisis and knowing the facts, PMLNs government still took the step to please some influential people and for personal gains. In the process of building the Islamabad Metro many buildings were razed and people were denied of their ancestral buildings.

When the plan had been unveiled as a blessing for the nation, Moonis Elahi had predicted the project would prove to be a huge loss. Time has proven its accuracy and now it is reported that the white elephant has produced a record 2.4 billion loss. It is a huge blow to the already Pakistans crumbling economy. Feeding the project with loans taken from IMF and World Bank against other projects which would have really benefited the public has been blown off on a failed project.​

A senior official, on condition of anonymity has revealed the federal government is planning to appoint Adil Gillani famous for his favorable survey reports since the formation of PMLN government, would be representing Pakistan as Ambassador to Serbia. Moonis Elahi has raised concerns over this favorable appointment as non-career diplomats are in fact unfavorable for the state.
Nawaz Sharif is widely known to appoint corrupt people on key posts in organizations that may have the rights to keep a check on his performance. Despite the poor economic conditions of Pakistan PMLN claimed to have made the countrys monetary state better than the past governments. However these false claims were exposed in the IMF report which stated debt has climbed to $73bn. Moonis Elahi and all other leaders of the country have condemned the false propaganda of PMLN.

Moonis Elahi has been a staunch supporter of the Kalabagh Dam project. He has said time and again that building the dam is the need of the hour and can save Pakistan. Pakistan is one of the top 10 water stressed countries of the world and nearly 40 MAF of water is wasted each year by falling in the Arabian Sea.

Moonis Optimistic New Army Chief Will Be As Good As Gen Raheel

As the countdown begins for a new army chief to take reins of the most powerful institution of Pakistan, COAS Gen Raheel Sharif on Monday began his last week in the office. It was a farewell round to all military formations, while speculations about who would succeed him is at nerve breaking point. With the General to step down on Nov 29, it is now the task of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to pick the next top commander to lead the nation beside him. While it is no hidden truth that the establishment has never been in Nawazs good books, but as the incumbent PM of the nation he will be choosing a new COAS.

Moonis Elahi hailed Gen Raheels decision to step down on the announced date and that he did not seek an extension as is a normal practice in the country. Moonis Elahi Says N League Govt Only Efficient In Announcing Shortfalls

N League government on Monday confirmed the stock of petrol and diesel in the country were sufficient only for 13 14 days which is much lower than the average 20 days which is mandatory before announcing an emergency of shortfall. So, it is without a doubt that the country would face another petrol crisis similarly it had faced on 27 January 2015.

Moonis Elahi is of the view that the government should learn its priorities and as a democratic government it should focus on serving the people rather than serving itself. In case the country dries up of fuel the entire nation would be shook and businesses would come to a standstill.According to figures released by the ministry of petroleum in a recent press release, the country wide stock of motor gasoline (petrol) is just at 225,674 metric tonnes (MTs) which is sufficient only for 13 days as per current average demand which is around 17,500MTs per days requirement.

Moonis Elahi said for a government which boasts of productivity and achievements, it is a true picture of its inefficiency and inability to rule the country. It will be the second fiasco in its tenure and Nawaz Sharif has learnt nothing from the past and still lives in a delusional world. The ministry has reported that two vessels carrying 17,000MTs of motor gasoline were waiting for berthing but it is unfortunate they are still on the waiting list. They should be offloaded on priority basis as delays in its berthing would cause a total disturbance countrywide.The ministrys worksheet revealed that the total countrywide storage capacity was around 301,593 tonnes of consumption coverage which is only sufficient for 14 days.

Has he given any clarification or statement regarding this ? Silence itself is 50% admission of guilt, he should put forward his financials and clear his name that all his businesses are legit with legit money, until that time morally speaking he has no right to be pointing fingers towards anyone else. Because there are much bigger and better forces who are fighting the good fight and have a better chance of succeeding than a nobody like Moonis, him "trying to push the supreme leaders" is nothing short of a joke, he is not even on their radar, just like you and me, to them he is a nobody, if he is really so concerned he should join the other forces instead of them joining him, or us joining him, there a billion and one people in Pakistan who are saying the same thing, you'll find a dozen on every street corner, so what makes Moonis so special ?

And like I said right now he has 0 moral credibility because of being named in the Panama papers, his 1st and foremost priority should be to clear is name if he has done nothing wrong and then think about making any public statements about anyone's else corruption or if he isn't clear, he better keep quite so he can slip into the crowd and hope no one notices him.

People like you had voted for the slain Benazir and what happened? The great Zardari became ruler. Now you will do the same for Bilawal and the end result will we will have Zardari once again. You lot like to rally around PMLN or PPP only and then blame the country that it is no good and apply for visas abroad.


When the court will ask him and others for their clarifications then we'll see who does what. In the meantime the court has summoned the PM and looking at the proceedings, I see it has become a circus and a cause to set trends on Twitter.


No worries if you don't want to join him. I have my own likings and I am free to vote for whoever I like after all we have this little bit of democracy which also allows you to choose a new leader but your brain doesn't accept that and you would still chant slogans for PMLN or PPP.


Special or not, Moonis' party hasn't plundered like the PMLN or PPP. And with people like you, I don't see PTI ruling punjab. So it's either PMLN or PPP again so its better for you to apply for a visa to some country where you can be the 2nd grade citizen.
