Musharrafs regime VS recent democratic Era
Fact is that it was Musharraf who imposed this kind of filthy democratic era on Pakistan as a part of that NRO deal. Pakistan's public is still bearing effects of that NRO deal.
With all the Army & civilian bureaucracy under him, Musharraf could have given Pakistan a gift of "free & fair elections" but all he gifted was that NRO due to which all corrupt politicians came back to fore.
So in essence, Musharraf is solely responsible for this poor democratic era.

Can any of Musharraf's supporters defend the NRO (democratic era) that he gifted the Pakistan nation? All the political mess that we see nowadays is due to that NRO. Musharraf did some good things in his era e.g. higher education progress etc, but the things where he messed up have cost Pakistan alot.

Before exploiting NRO to hate Mushy, you have to ask the people why they elected PPP and then PML-N.
Of course you haters have to bring tiny pieces to make up a mountain against Mushy.

So you are saying that it was "free & fair elections" under Musharraf ???? Just as I said that do you think everyone is just deaf and dumb here??? NRO was the first thing Musharraf did before elections and then the elections under him were extremely rigged. Half of the voters lists were bogus.
Not only did Musharraf made this NRO deal, but also did nothing to ensure "free & fair elections", despite the fact that all Army and civil forces were under his command.
So it was not people who elected PPP as majority and PML-N as minority in 2008 elections, but it was the whole NRO & rigged elections deal due to which they got elected. PML(N) was given Punjab, and PPP the center. The 2012 elections have been muk-mukka of the same 2 [ PPP-PML(N)] alliance who made sure that no free and fair elections are possible.
