Imran Khan was beating drums for populating D chowk Islamabad. T. Qadri was stationed in Washington DC and visiting state department offices on daily basis. Rauf Klasara landed at New York along with his whole family. He toured america from east coast to west coast(if billed, it could be in hundered of thousand dollars). Got his wife treated for free for a disease where just one time dosage will cost him $ 24000 whereas his wife total medical treatment bill was around half million dollars. His whole family was given Residence cards (Green cards).
Will someone ask Klasara that why was America so kind to you. These were the days when people like Imran , Qadri and Klasara were on the same frequency aired from West. Had democratic forces not got united, Klasara would have been Minister in a govt installed after empire raising his finger.

I have followed Klasra since 2008-09 after NRO took place. Since then he has reported on numerous scandals against the govt. I think he is the best investigative journalist pakistan has to offer. As far as his opinions are concerned, he is basically a jiyala. I have found his opinions/views to be consistent since 2008 which proves that he doesn't take under the table comission. Even if he does, his views have remained consistent for the last 10 years which is quite remarkable in pakistani journalist community.

Brother, probably the definition of "Investigative Journalism" is different for you and me.
According to my limited knowledge no one in Pakistan is "truly an investigative journalist" including Klasara.
What they exposed is given to them by the disgruntled employees of different ministries and departments. They just jump on the opportunities and make their money.
They real investigative journalists look at the story, goes to the sources, get undeniable evidence to help prosecute the culprits.
They take the investigation to their conclusions. How many investigations have gone to their conclusions in Pakistan!!!
Against how many corrupt thugs these people have stood up to!
How many people are prosecuted by their investigative journalism!!!

Lets be practical.

How much money Sharifs, Zardari and all other crooks have stashed away in other countries!!
Did anyone of them have done any investigation and brought proofs from overseas which could stand up in a court of Law!!

That's why crooks like Sharifs and Zardari are embolden and they issue threats to the existence of Pakistan openly, while their feet licking followers including their so-called leaders follow them like slaves, accepting and propagating their damn lies to the nation.
If I were in their positions and getting fat packages by doing nothing, just photocopying the documents/files given to them, I would have presented the undeniable evidence against Sharifs in the courts. I already know where most of the evidence is and how to obtain that.
The issue is why nobody from Pakistan has not done so!!!
Lets be honest, do you seriously think that getting the information regarding Nielson and Nescol so difficult!!
It is piece of cake. The question is why it is not collected yet!!!
