In his book Gohar Ayub , the foreign minister at that time has categorically stated that both
Shareefs were not in favor of Atomic explosion. It was the pressure of Army, A.Q.Khan, Majeed Nizami
and the people of Pakistan which forced him to do the testing explosions.
As far KARGIL he has lied so many times and proved by the record of briefings and meetings with top
brass of the army that he was fully aware of the Kargil misadventure ( which resulted in closure of Kashmir chapter).
N.S. has been demanding inquiry into Kargil operation from 1999 till the return of Musharraf ( after Saudi Gurantees ).
The fact is that Kargil took place in Feb.-May, 1999. If this operation was carried out without his knowledge why
didn't he ordered an inquiry till 12th October 1999, as the Prime minister. Instead he gave Musharraf double promotion
as a reward and besides COAS he promoted Musharraf as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff, only once in history both
posts were held by the same person.
In the first place ehy did he promote Musharraf , by passing two senior competent Generals. When this most
sensitive and powerful assignment is made and the future and security of the country is assigned to a person
his entire career is looked at with microscopic eyes. Musharraf was to be Court martialled before 1965 war for
mis conduct but the war saved him this punishment. His personal character was known to entire army as a
womaniser / drunkard and was known as YK2. ( Yahya Khan 2 ). Musharraf's appointment was a criminal and
anti state act of Nawaz Shareef just because he thought that this morally bankrupt General will never dream of
more, besides being a Mohajir who are considered to have lesser influence in the army. ( same mistake was made
by Bhutto in appointing Zia ). After Musharraf;s appointment, the infamous ABBA JEE invited Musharraf in Rai Wind,
declared him as his fourth son and presented BMW keys.
There must be a limit to blatant lies and cheating. Nawaz Shareef , just like his mentor Zia, is a big hypocrite,
full of deceit, back stabbing and betrayal.
