Europeans are plagued by mental and neurological illnesses, with almost 165 million people or 38 percent of the population suffering each year from a brain disorder such as depression, anxiety, insomnia or dementia, according to a large new study. With only about a third of cases receiving the therapy or medication needed, mental illnesses cause a huge economic and social burden -- measured in the hundreds of billions of euros -- as sufferers become too unwell to work and personal relationships break down. 'Mental disorders have become Europe's largest health challenge of the 21st century,' the study's authors said.

such studies and researches come and go day in and day out ... but this also a fact that stress makes people act strangely and some time even worse ...life in Europe and US is became so tough that just to keep the 2 end intact people has to run in all 4 directions ... but 38 to 40 is a huge percentage.

It shows how badly world is organised that each and every person is so insecure therefore worried that many lose their sanity. Thats good study and correct. In Europe the depression is the biggest psychological aliment. I wonder who is it pakistan? I think the same trend has come to pakistan with short-fall in power supply alone has made people restless.
Have to do something before this world became a living mental hospital.
