there may be other means of transferring data and signals we have managed to know and use only two one is electronic signals and second is normal waves we use as signal carriers.

there is possibility that there are also many other means of carrying signals , it can be light or any thing. but yet we have to find third one.
but Allah knows all the science and He may use any and all of mediums to carry / transfer information.

If we look at the incident where Hazrat Umar called his battle field commander and asked Syria to cover the mountain , there was actually a distance of over thousand miles but battle field commander heard hazrat umar. So what medim was there ? it wasnt electronic or normal waves ? what was it if we struggle we can find out.

And last thing Allah Has many mystical ways to get his desired work done. May Allah keep us on the right path and right track .

I meant if man can develop the technology to cay waves of light, picture, voice, , whats the problem with Allah and his selected people...

Actually, the Sahaba knows it, they were Ahl-e- Iman....whats wrong and right...
