In all the verses where obey the Messanger is used, Allah never addresses obeying Mohammad or Nabi. The reason is that the message (The Quran) is connected with the Messanger.

I 100% agree with you on this. No critical thinking at all, just blindly following what they have been told, brainwashed and indoctrinated since childhood. No one bothers to even look up and verify what they are spoon fed.

Not just that - Any one with just any 'argument' like the one in the video can come in and since people are unable to see the logical strawman, they fall for it. No its not that. I do not know a lot and I am too lazy to try to debate on something that is very obvious knowing that it would not make an iota of a difference. Just like this person in the video who thinks he can twist Quranic verses as he likes while taking the position that the text is all we have. The result is very obvious. You will have to cut the very tree you are sitting on in doing that but hey who cares - The beauty of life is that everyone is free to believe and follow whatever they want, however nonsensical it is.

BTW I realize where this concept has sprung from and is natural according to Newton's third law of motion - Every extreme position will create an opposite extreme position just like you break a magnet to smaller pieces and every piece will have the two poles.
