Owais Bhai with Baba Bulleh Shah(RA) Kalam

I used to like this person a lot but when he started this kind of "innovation", i don't like him any more. I wish there had been some difference between naats and songs. Feels strange when a naat is picturized at some mountain sides, hill stations, beaches, deserts with so many cameras just like the shooting of some movie is going on. I still remember that he used to ask for the shutdown of cameras strictly in every mehfil. And now!! Aik Naat picturize kerne k liay aisay aisay mehngay sets lagay jatay hen k kuch na pocho.

By the way. Can someone enlighten me if it is fine to use RA with the names of persons other than sahaba-e-karaam or not???

bhai jaan aik baat ka apa b jawab,aik dafa Hazrat Umar Se kaha giya k Masjid ki Chat se pani girta hay jab barish hoti hai,,,us waqt masjid ki chat khajoor k patoon se bani hoti the,aur kuch saba isay pakka karna chahtay the,Hazrat Umar Razi ALLAHo anho ne farmaya ,nahi ,jaisya ye masjid NABI SALLALLHO ALAIHE WASALAM k zamanay emin thi waisay hi rehnay do,aap ko ye Waqya b yaad ho ga,Aik dafa Aik Sahabi Razhi Allaho anho ne NABI SALLALLHO ALAIHE WASALAM ki thi jab NABI SALLALLHO ALAIHE WASALAM us k ghar k darwazay par pochnay aap ne dekha un sahabi Razi Allaho anho ne apnay ghar k oper chabotara banaya tah,mean room b aap keh saktay hain,NABI SALLALLHO ALAIHE WASALAM ne narazgi ka izhar kiya,aur mera khiyal hay aaj kisi masjid ki chat khajoor k nahi hai,aur na hi kisi islami country mein single story bulding hay rehnay k liay,even saudia mein dekho lo KABAA sharif k samnay Kabaa sharif bohat ziyada buliding banai gai hai,aur pak mein kiya double story ghar nahi hain,bhai aap har cheez ko nagitive na dekha karo,jo pegham hay is mein aap us par amal karo,i hope u understand,ALLAH hum sab ko apna mohasba karnay ki taufeeq de aameen

When it is used with Sahaba-e-Karaam, then normally it means "Razi Allah tala Anho/Anha", and when used with any other pious person than it normally means "Remat Allah Aleh"

I might agree with a few things you said but you did not get my point. First of all, the style of naats which I referred to was not 1400 years back, it was just in the 80's or 90's. I told you that I personally liked this person and used to attend every mehfil where he used to come in my city. Believe me when I see this Owais and Owais of those days, I really get disappointed. In short, the naats of 90's and older were much much better and penetrating in hearts than those of these days.
