thankk to the martial law that resulted because of a corrupt govt. Hopefully it will happen soon again. Right now we really need a Martial Law Mumtaz Qadri style.

I want a better army - an army that can be trusted that it will uphold the Constitution no matter what - an army which is answerable to civilian leadership and an army who never points their gun at the citizens, no matter what.
Army has no business running petrol stations, making corn flakes, and dealing in property. This has to stop. It is not difficult. Fouji Foundation already exists; make it a private corporation run by civilian businessmen with foundation having a majority share - that way veterans can be taken care of.
I also want Article 16 of Constitution embedded in military penal code.
I want army to shut down all American outsourced torture and detention centers. Army should have no authority to arrest or detain a citizen. I want Rangers sent back to borders.
I also want number of army personnel to be reduced to no more than 200K. England has an army of 60K and I can bet that it can kick Pak Army's *** on any given day. Meaning that I want army to invest in technology instead. I want them to have the best of the weapons. In next few years army will have no purpose left at all. The modern wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria has shown us that it is the citizens now, who defend and fight for the countries and are fully capable of defeating enemies as well. Armies collapse with in weeks.

However, nothing will be proven in this country; especially if you are powerful.
We are not convicting them, but talking about perception with a lot of history to back it up.

Look at the status of your beggar country ...and then u talk about its institutions.
It is not America or Britain to whom u r comparing with .....
every thing works in proportionate way.....
We need to build our country and its institution..... there is always space for progress...

The answer is simple " If you don't know where you are going, you will definitely not get there". You have to set objectives and national prioities.
The objectives that I have put forth are all achievable at this time, you don't need to wait 200 years to make army compliant with constitution and shutting down torture and detention centers. The technological development on the other hand will take time I understand that. The reduction in number of personnel can be achieved by mandatory 2 year military training for citizens. etc.
Where there is a will there is a way. But we cannot keep doing the things that we have been doing for 69 years for sacred cows. It has to stop.

For 5 to 7 lack army 33 pumps 69 shoping centres (where civilian can also go and shop) and 54 schools which will b army public school (again civilian kids can study). For all the dumb A**** all these assets combined are less than nawaz sharif's house in murreee .Everybody who want to curse army these guys r free to do whatever they want but trust me i think they are indians or they r ttp,because itney pathetic ilzaam koi b sensible pakistani tu nai laga sakta. kabhi pic laga detey hain look at geberal raheel expersion .kabhi yeh 33 petrol pump . last ppp goverment mein eik mna ney 50 sey ziada license liye thie .i mean wtf??

What is ur understanding/visualization of land grabbing?
Do u think/mean an army officer would send some ghunda with arms and accomplices to occupy someone's plot?
After all they are 'sophisticated people', they do things sophisticated way. During those long 35 years of army rule, they just need to put their signature on some shady document prepared by a some patwari and tehsildar and the state land is theirs.
Where do u think this land for DHA's in every city and Cholistan area for agricultural allotments has come from??
They have have not grabbed any individual's land but embezzled state land by force under the garb of 'policy'.
