Look at the pie chart. Pakistan has power generation total capacity of 45,824 MW. Why in 2018, Sharifs wanted to increase the production capacity to get rid of load shedding , when they knew very well, the extra capacity wouldn't increase the transmission of the electricity, but would increase the burden on the budget for capacity payments to IPP.
They purposefully transferred billions of Rupees in to the pockets of their chums and making life of Pakistanis miserable by producing one of the most expensive electricity in the world.
There is method to this madness. Amazingly crook Nawaz still crying that give relief to the poor people of Pak. When as a matter of fact, this misery is brought on Pakistani people by him and his family.
