Parvez Khattak - PTI CM. Test that PTI failed

People believed in "Change" and voted for PTI in KPK. They were tired of traditional power players. When the moment came, they confided in Imran Khan's promises of change. They came out, despite threats from Taliban.

Other parties respected PTI's mandate and gave them chance to work in KPK. PTI, in alliance with JI, is in position to make provincial government. Soon government will take over and start working.

In next election PTI will have to show some performance -- better than the one showed by N-League in Punjab, which helped them regain majority -- along with promises and criticism on others. All eyes will be on them. Clock is ticking.

Start is always critical, first step is the one that determines how good the journey will be. First step toward making of KPK government have shocked many. Alliance with JI was weird enough for PTI well wishers, the made it weirder by nominating Parvez Khattak the next CM of KPK.

Parvez Khattak, alleged with corruption charges, was given preference over other loyal PTI candidate, Asad Qaiser. This step have raised many eyebrows within and without PTI circles. Will PTI continue this pursuit or get on track before its too late? Will the alliance between JI, the right conservative, and PTI, the liberal fashion symbol, work for 5 years? Will people see PTI deliver as per their manifesto? It's too soon to speculate.

It's a long journey and my best wishes are with PTI and hope that PTI doesn't fall down like the previous KPK Government. Time has changed and no body can fool people for long.

Youth of Pakistan were looking for CHANGE that Imran has already delivered. He has brought more new faces to Assemblies than any other party. Only a STUPID like you can expect a party to choose a young CM for a province that's teeming with problems and have very deep relation with the past.

Though it's casting pearls before a swine, yet I think even a person whose skull has a bit of brain in it could understand that Imran made perfectly right decision by choosing P.Khattak from the options available for CM.

Just one point Noon league did not win because of there performance but because of rigging. To match PML N all PTI needs to do is sell a few laptops and jangla bus and then play freindly opposition just like PML N did with Zardari.

I do agree we need to perform in KPK but everything is stacked up against us and I have a feeling the likes of PML N and MQM and foreign establishment may bring us more troubles on top of the problems we already have

Can anyone give us any idea what corruption Mr Pervaiz Khattak did? If there were any charges, then why NAB had been sleeping? Merely on Charges, you can't discredit people.

I can also blame this writer as a Corrupt person that he is involved in Wine and Drug Smuggling. Now ask me proofs.

And if this Saleem Safi even read something from Quran, I wouldn't believe him before I confirm it by myself. He is an idiot and biased towards PTI. Before election he used to say that PTI will win very few seats in KP and no seat from FATA. ButT PTI won many seats in KP and 2-3 seats in FATA whereas people like us sitting in UK were sure that PTI will perform very well in KP. I had even mentioned somewhere on Facebook that PTI can win 17-21 NA seats in KP and 5-7 in FATA.

IK is right to have Pervaz Khatak as chief in KPK, man is seasoned politician and is determined to perform. People those are trying to give free advice should keep that with themselves for their future need. PTI know exactly what to do and how to serve the people of KPK in this difficult situation.

Many people including PTI well wishers have expressed the same concerns and this is a positive attitude if it is meant to be constructive criticism.

However I don't agree with your point about alliance with JI. I know that many people see JI as half-Taliban but not me personally. Their track record is much cleaner than the vast majority of political and religio-political parties in Pakistan. Also, PTI can't make a government in KPK without making alliances. A lot of people say they shouldn't sit on the treasury benches if they can't form a government independently. However, in case of PTI sitting on the opposition benches a lot of people will say that PTI does not have the political maturity and vision to work with others. Hence, in my own opinion it's better to join hands with comparatively clean people/parties. Also, this will give them the opportunity to show whether they can deliver what they have been promising for last many years.

Others, please don't be so harsh when giving your feedback. The thread starter has mentioned that he's a PTI well wisher. This abusive language and excessively aggressive attitude has already given a lot of bad name to PTI and Imran Khan. Give some attention to how MQM has been exploiting this on the mainstream media these days.

Sometimes I feel that some people especially the youth on this forum vent their anger of being sent by their moms for fetching dahi and double roti by posting abusive posts on Siasat.pk and other social media forums.

Whole bunch of "crap". Sh**T presented with icing on it.
Vote minus bogus vote equal PTI 2/3rd majority.
