May Allah SWA give us the inner eye to see through this period of gloom and darkness AMEEN.
My brothers and sisters I would humbly want to draw your attention to the following points that might have been overlooked.
1- Calling for re-elections is a futile exercise and PTI would be looked upon as sore losers.
PTI has yet to learn and perfect the art of electioneering. PTI supporters are too technologically advanced to see that the country is still run the same way it used to 30 years ago!!! Elections are conducted in the same manner there is nothing modern about it and you have to keep watch at all polling stations and stand guard with your candidate at the counting to ensure that no rigging is conducted. Learn from Sheikh Rasheed and thank him for saving Imran Khan against Afrdeen for he had started to close the gap till it was stopped by Sheikh sahib. In Pakistan voters are not merely convinced, you have to harvest the votes on election day. Imran Khans back breaking campaign (no pun intended) and Tabdeli Razakars sent voters to vote for PTI and a 60% turnout is a testament to their hardwork!! but once they reached their polling stations (especially in remote areas) they were not managed and many must have been flipped in favor of PML-N. Yes mandate was stolen but not exactly the way you think and not on a large scale. Please see what Mr Haroon Rasheed and Nisar Hassan are saying.
2- Secondly the country is in a very dangerous situation and I think the establishment considered PML-N as a safe bet
It is not that the establishment and particularly the army is anti PTI or too corrupt to change it is just a bit hesitant to put PTI at the helm of the affairs that too at such a critical time as this. Remember they want a controlled democracy not two thirds democracy bull in China shop like Bhutto in 1977 and Nawaz in 1997. They would certainly want to see it in action on a smaller scale first. i.e on provincial level.
3- PML-N did go a few steps farther as is their greedy and power hungry nature and did some blatant rigging on few confirmed seats of PTI to rob Imran Khan the position of Leader of the opposition in NA and to humiliate him 49votes in NA122 what a joke!!
Sadly there was no contingency plan against this eventuality and not many proof and evidences where collected.
This matter has been taken by PTI and Imran Khan and must be the common demand of every Insafian.
4- Lastly to my dear PTI brothers and sisters, welcome to the political arena of Pakistan!! You have arrived!!
You have participated, you have shouted slogans like fanatics, you have twirled like sufis, you have cried for you leader
NOW be ready for lathi charges by Police, tear gas and baton charge, brush up on your rights, section144 etc etc bail procedures etc
Also organize yourselves be prepared to get famous panja form Punjab police and eat balti josh and papar roti at Kot Lakhpat.
I hope you all have a very adventurous and fulfilling political struggle.
P.S I have had the honor of getting panja and free stay at Ritz Kot Lakhpat for a month!! you all can live through it with grace and dignity I have no doubt!
