Bhutto, Junejo, Nawaz Shareef, Benazeer, and Imran Khan, all have gone through the same fate of rise and fall. The establishment chooses them and makes all systems work in their favor. As a result, they win the phony baloney elections and they become the democratic stooges of the establishment.
The “one-page thingy” lives for some time. Politicians speak in high words to the public, and these high words along with some artificial prosperity give them some position in the eyes of the general public. People start gathering around them and their self-awareness kicks in. They start making their own decisions against the "One Page Thingy". That is where they become too dangerous. Now this self-aware stooge must be eliminated. So every court is used, and every institution is used to achieve one and only one goal. Remove this stooge from the scene for some time.
Hanif Abbasi's life imprisonment was one small step in that whole elimination process which started against the Self Aware Stooge known as Nawaz Shareef. The case was registered against 8 people for getting Ephedrine more than their allocated Quota in 2012. Out of 8 Hanif Abbasi was the only prominent politician who belonged to the Stooge that must be eliminated. So the case was reopened just the week before the general elections. 7 were acquitted, and this Guy was given life imprisonment just 4 days before the election in 2018. He was quite a threat to Sheikh Rasheed.
Now that the Machine is working again. This time stooge to be removed is Imran Khan. Same old same old tactics are being repeated. The refurbished Stooges are on their way back to revive the “One Page Thingy”.
