This guy Perry marshall has combined Shannon's information theory with the knowledge of DNA, to come up with a uniquely elegant proof of the existence of God.

I know some close-minded pseudo mullahs will say 'hey we don't need no stinkin Kafir to tell us how to prove the existence of God .. we have crammed our 1000 year old books containing debates between our aslaaf and the kuffar'. Well, I have news for you guys: those kuffar from the old times are long-dead. The new kuffar are equipped with new arguments, aided by science and logic. To refute them, we need an equivalent caliber in our understanding of science and philosophy.

Anyway, he provides links to Shannon's information theory on his web-site, and shows how he applies that theory to the structure of DNA.

btw, this discussion might be too much for those who think science and logic should be kept separate from religious discussions..

You are just against science. Sience never said that it is all automatic process or without any grand design. Science tells only the rule who govern it. People like you have their own explanation of Islam which is far from reality. There is no contradiction between Islam and Science. Islam is for all times and spaces. Quran is applicable even in Mars. Some people have other views. For example few still stress on cleaning teeth with wood brushes (Miswak) . It is like trying to avoid modern tooth brushes. History witnesses many years Muslims like this banning any new innovation like printing presses for Quran, blood transfusions for sick, loud speakers for Azan and gene therapies for cure. Still they are fighting on producing test-tube babies and doing cloning. Please don’t hijack Islam and interpret it according to your will. Women are still banned to drive cars and go alone for work. Do you agree that Islam is for all times?
