Give them good transportation before withdrawing subsidy.
Plan a affordable transportation system replace it with metro and subsidy will be drawn automatically.
That's how a sensible and caring govt should work.

We are part of govt , part of country and playing our part for betterment of humanity and country in our capacity.
These forums are for discussions.
Removing direct subsidies create anti govt. sentiment and help propaganda makers so we don't want trouble for govt.

Anyways govt. will not withdraw full subsidy will just increase fair little bit.

Then why PTI built it in KPK and that too in more than 70 Billion rupees. If PML(N) can do with corruption in 30 billion then how PTI is building in 70 Billion without corruption.

This is great time. PMLN leadership can buy this project from Punjab government and start giving subsidy to show how much they care their voters. I know this operation of Punjab Metro projects is with Turkey company so it will build a good relationship with Turkey which will be great for Shareef family.
In terms of Peshawar Metro, if they have to give subsidy then PTI must ask Khattak to help.

Good to know. There is no such thing called propaganda makers....it is a mindset who were facilitated for personal uses by the Govt. s and establishment (mostly military). Then later on when the leave them that is where this dirty mentality starts because these so called propaganda makers are surviving for bread.
Subsidy (small or large) is no solution to any problem. This means making people handicaped. Any facility which is based on subsidy should be removed. These things are burden on economy.
BTW, this is very general statement that we are all part of Govt. If this is the case then does not matter who is in power the policies should be same because people are part of Govt. which is basic definition of so called bullshit democracy. But this is not the case.

Unfortunately in democracy beside rational decisions you try to keep the people happy and opposition shut.
You know why govt. give subsidy on utility stores, Ramadan baza R, sasta bazaR, atey k theiley bla bla. by ur definition these are just stunts but even current govt is doing this. Then there is Benazir Income Support which is keeping people handicap by giving them few thousands a month.

I think enough discussion on the topic, there are different ways to think on an issue.

Give proof. Pmln don't add cost of land acquisition for project. They just mentioned price of road 30bn. Kpk metro has feeder roads included in price. Please learn and study before you comment

More than seventy billion cost is every where printed in newspaper what proof you need. There was fifty billion rupees loan was taken from Asian bank only. In Punjab metro land acquisition was not included; can you show a proof? No feeder roads were built in Peshawar metro look at map. Only feeder buses will connect with main metro which is same as Lahore metro.

According to official Docs in Pervaiz Elahi Tenure the fare of metro was between 40-55 Rs and that of Orange train it was 125 Rs . now imagine what would have been cost after 12 years. and Nasty Showbaz was shouting.......
