Gujranwala: The immature Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers manhandled media persons during coverage of intra-party election in Gujranwala district of Punjab.
It seems that the leadership of cricketer turned politician Imran Khan’s PTI has no control over its workers and supporters as they had done such things in the past.
According to The News Tribe correspondent, the PTI workers manhandled and tortured the journalists and broke their cameras. The torture also caused fracture in the arm of a local journalist.
Shafqat Mehmood, the PTI spokesman, while talking to a private news television condemned the incident and said that an investigation team has been formed and culprits would be punished.

This is really bad by PTI workers , PTI should ban everyone involved and the candidates of the related union council.

PTI ko elections ka credit daina chahiyeee that they took the risk of holding elections jus before General elections but PTI workers jus like internet abusive attitude apni leadership ki mehnat ko khaak mai milanay ka kaam continue rakhay huway hain... and here PTI supporters instead of condemning the act are once again criticizing that media coverage nahi karta.... Bhai ye wohi media hai jis ko aap nai Gali dai dai k apna dushman banaya hai... its not signal pai khara traffic wala... sab ko apni izzat pyari hai.. jab ungli karogai tuo jawab mai phool nahi milein gai... haan, agar koi anchor had sai guzar jaye tuo aap ka gussa jaiz hai but har doosray sai aaisa attitude sahi nahi...

What happened shouldn't have happened however, we can't expect Imran Khan to have educated this nation overnight. Whenever a revolution happens, it sees some issues, some bloodshed, etc. on it's way and this fighting is part of that. InshAllah no one will be able to come between PTI and Victory!!

Brothers this Boycott news is False, their is no reality in it......this is being spread by PMLN the same old Propaganda .....find and listen the Geo News 9 o Clock Bulletin......how they have praised the Elections and have said shame on other parties the other parties should take a leaf out of PTI book.

It is not the mistake of party leader, its pakistani culture. Incidents like this are not the monopoly of any single party. Link below proves this. My question is did media boycott when these incidents took place ?
