This is not an act to be celebrated but in a country where people are getting blown up to bits, where people are killed for just being associated with a particular political group or a particular sect, where people get robbed, looted, cheated - where people die because they can't get basic medical facilities or medicines, where kids as young as 6 or 7 can't go to schools and are forced in labor due to hardship on their families, where the unscrupulous leaders of all kinds - including politicians, religious leaders, military men, bureaucrats are abusing the populace by indulging in blatant and mind boggling corruption and without any shame, where inflation is breaking the back of the majority of people - if someone who broke the constitution twice and ruled with the help of the barrel of the gun with no one questioning his authority - if he received a shoe on his face (no matter how deplorable that act may be) then its not the most urgent or important thing to be upset about. Ali mian, there are a thousand other things in our motherland that we should be feeling outraged about before we get to be very sensistive about a military dictators nose!

In civilized world there is something called "Due Process", take him to court prove your case and punish him. But applauding a deplorable act does not make sense to me.
Well, you got it right, the key is CIVILIZED WORLD and that is what we are not and the point I was trying to make was that I would put military dictators as squarely responsible, along with a horde of other factors, for the sorry state of affairs that we find outselves in where people feel the need to throw a shoe at someone's face to take out their frustrations. Having said that I still think that its irrelevant to fret about this incident and reactions to it. I don't care whether people feel a sense of joy or sorrow over it and forgetting about the people getting blown up or kids going hungry or sick not being able to get medicine or the corrupt politicians robbing the state coffers to stuff their bank accounts --the list goes on and on and on....

i just saw this video from another source.shoe hit musharaf right on middle of his face! but media hid this news totally!which shows that media including the so called "patriotic media" like nawaiwaqt also from inside worship or respect musharaf ,he being an ex army guy plus knowing that army still owns and respects its ex boss....which shows one thing.this nation as whole is slave mentality,they instead of fully worshipping their creator have made false gods,who they worship,but these false gods have no power nor are they sincere to this nation...meanwhile when aalim e islam,es hero Osama bin laden was martyred ,than the same media including nawaiwaqt took part in a campaign to defame him by first giving his false will ,than making false claims to defame Osama,s character...remember for such crimes this nation will pay,as media,s crimes and nations silence over them are enough for punishment
