That’s why all haraam kors of Pakistan Generals, Judges, politicians, Government Employees don’t want Khan they want thief’sThat is 1001% true. Having lived all my life outside of Pakistan, only time I had to face zalalat and realize I am a shitty Pakistani citizen was when I had to go to the Pakistani embassy for some official work.
When they went from manual to machine readable passports, they made it mandatory to have the new Pak ID card. Meri phatt ke haat mein aagai after a million trips and a billion discussions and arguments they would keep finding objections and making issues and wouldnt even accept my application. extremely rude and shitty people working there who treat everyone there like animals
Then I had to become a true Pakistani, I found a source inside the embassy, charged me 50dhs extra and told me to come after it closes. I went, he personally took me to every counter, data entry, biometric, photo and in less than 5 mins all the mountains of problems were solved.
Then during Khans tenure and passing of my parents during the Pandemic, I had to sort out some documents. First majority of the process was done online, and then I was getting stuck with some issue, so unwillingly I went to the embassy again and oh my god what a pleasant surprise, the entire place had changed, it was quite and peaceful, no one was making noise, no customers shouting at counters, no fights. And everyone I spoke to their was very polite and helpful and was able to just go the bosses office knock on his door and talk to him.
Another time I launched a complaint on the Citizen Portal which got solved on the next day itself and didn't need their help so I closed the complaint and marked it a solved but within two days I got a call in Dubai from Islamabad from the citizen portal people, asking me if I had launched a complain, was it solved now, am I sure I didn't need any further assistance from them? Man what a great surprise.
In reality for the first time in my life I felt proud of our Govt and how it is treating its citizens.
Absolutely the same experience in UK during IK's government. I honestly felt respect from all and for the first tome was proud to declare a Pakistani origin. That is 1001% true.
