Survey reveals nearly 1.5 million children not going to schools in KP

PESHAWAR: The survey conducted by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) education department has revealed that nearly 1.5 million children across the province do not go to schools.

Out of these 15 lac minors, there are one million girls and half million boys. It has also been learnt that more than 0.6 million kids on primary level, and around 0.9 million on secondary level are deprived of education.

According to the report, the main reasons behind children not in schools are poverty, lack of facilities in schools and transportation, absence of nearby schools and lack of interest in studies.

It is worth mentioning here that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had announced education emergency in KP as soon as it assumed charge of provincial government, and annually ran campaigns to admit children to schools but could not achieve the desired results.

راجہ صاحب کو پتا تھا کہ پنجاب کی حالت اس سے بھی بری ہے اور اس طرف سے کافی مار پڑنی ہے. لہٰذا انہوں نے پہلے ہی احتیاطاً پنجاب کا ذکر کر دیا تاکہ شرمندگی کا ایڈوانس توڑ کر سکیں. اب چاہے پنجاب میں ایک بھی بچہ اسکول نہ جاتا ہو لیکن کوئی کچھ نہیں کہہ سکتا کیوں کہ راجہ صاحب نے طعنہ دے دیا ہے

Its good to see PMLN supporter for showing his concern regarding education in KPK and even great not to talk about education in Punjab as education is a killer for his masters in Punjab.

Any child out of education is a national disaster. The PTI has made progress but there is a long way to go and more energy and enthusiasm is needed from those in power to get more children educated. But for Nooras not even to mention the same problems but on a much bigger scale in Punjab shows how sick their minds are. Do NS and SS ever or have discussed the terrible situation in Punjab, no fuuckin chance. The whole Sharif clan discuss how to steal more money from the poor and buy properties in London.
