I don't have time to read his tweet but if Lal Topi said, what is written in the title of this thread, then I agree with him (what a fcuking day). Army should have no business interfering in political matters.

What if your politician are still in diaper age? What Army will do? Will Army standby let the country slide into anarchy? We all know army is not the solution but someone has to interference among stubborn kids. That's what we (as parents) do with our kids on daily basis.

I agree Zaid Hamid is a patriot. But his supporting Musharraf puts a big question mark on his credibility. He says he is a faqir or whatever. But is it right for someone who portrays himself as a moral individual, to support a person (Mush) who gave the west permission to commit drone strikes on our people and land. Let's not forget the great number of people Musharraf handed over to USA. Especially aafia siddiqui, considering the fact that she is a woman. Also, many ppl languishing in the Guantanamo bay are actually innocent. And zaid hamid isn't too bothered with the drone strikes that butchered & maimed our ppl.

Our politicians have not grown up. They are still in childhood stubborn age. Pl. try to understand. We know army didn't do a good job during Musharaf era. But someone should intervene. We are all on standstill. I do have two week vacations which are spoiled by these marches as I am glued to TV and facebook. The same way, the whole country is on standstill. We need some way forward. Let's go back to public and get fresh mandate. Something should be done immediately.

We all are seeing these days that Mr. Zaid Hamid is actively posting tweets on his twitter account regarding current situation of Pakistan. I have great respect for him, but I highly doubt that the stakeholders will be paying attention to his tweets.


But, more important questions is, that he always fantasized revolution and new Pakistan. Today is the time. Where is he ? Why he is not physically present on the ground with TUQ or IK ?


I hope, I will get some sane answers. As this question is highly questioning his patriotic credentials.

He was right there and he didn't defend Musharraf's bad policies. More than that he called him stupid for many Musharraf's act. Zaid Hamid supported Musharraf only against Nuwaz Shareef and Zardari so do everybody.

You tell me, if a man advocates Khilafat in all of his peaches, how could he support dictatorship in general? Well, you'd not answer this question so let me answer to everybody. If all the leaders are bad, we defend best, simple math. What's the problem with that.
And before you fire another stupid question, I want to clarify that supporting Musharraf against Nuwaz and Zardari doesn't mean that we want Musharraf back. He has done his time and we don't need him anymore. Now we have batter than Musharraf, who is Imran Khan.

And if you listen Zaid Hamid now, you'd see that he supports Imran Khan and Tahir-u-Qadari's demands.
