Heavy firing, blasts near GHQ Headquarters in Pindi

RAWALPINDI: Heavy firing has been reported near GHQ army Headquarters here in Rawalpindi, meanwhile, a loud explosion has also been heard, Geo news reported.

According to an eyewitness, the shooting began when a carry vehicle was intercepted by army personnel near army headquarters on Mall Road, so the miscreants sitting on vehicle opened heavy indiscriminate firing meanwhile, army soldiers have surrounded the vehicle and retaliated.

As many as five hand grenades have been hurled from the vehicle meanwhile, the entire area has been cordoned off and the road has been closed for traffic.

According to sources, the miscreants are dressed in army uniform

But question is, why this would have had happened, terrorist attack was already predicted, but they couldn't catch, until they entered and attacked GHQ.

Taliban have been infiltrated by anti-state elements, some bought with hundreds of thousands of $'s, these elements are doing terrorist activities, theres a pattern before any major operation major terrorist activity takes place, all of such terrorist activities are sophisticated and seems like work of very organised and committed organisation, please don't forget US wants to win hearts and minds of Pakistani people, in my opinion recent partnership of US & India is a key factor here.
