It is reported that Al-Shab Allh have mercy on him said:

Allh the Exalted distinguished Ab Bakr Al-Siddq Allh be pleased with him with four qualities He did not distinguish anyone else with:

He called him Al-Siddq (the true believer), and He never named anyone else Al-Siddq;

[Ab Bakr] was the companion of Allhs Messenger pbuh in the cave.

He was companion of Rasool Allah pbuh during the Migration (Al-Hijrah);

and Allhs Messenger pbuh told him to lead the prayer in the presence of the rest of the Muslims.

Qaiser! You are wrong. I think you have copied this from somewhere. The article writer has made
exaggeration to a great extent.
Allah called or gave title of "Sadiq" to two prophets one of them is Ibrahim;
Allah also kept this title opened for all people, provided they fulfill two conditions.
(I have source from Quran, wherein is no doubt). In the love of companions, we should
and must not cross the limits.

019.054 YUSUFALI: Also mention in the Book (the story of) Isma'il: He was (strictly) true to what he promised, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet.

004.069 YUSUFALI: All who obey Allah and the messenger are in the company of those on whom is the Grace of Allah,- of the prophets (who teach), the sincere (lovers of Truth), the witnesses (who testify), and the Righteous (who do good): Ah! what a beautiful fellowship!

Jazak Allah brother Mirza Qasir... Thank you for sharing and now let's me share something with you too.

Sadiq... Sadiq meaning sacha TRUTHFUL... who got called sadiq in Quran few prophets and ahlabaat al rasool. No sahabi(RA) is called sadiq in Quran. In Quran such as Abrahim and Ali Fatima Hassan and Hussain. Here is a fact: The Christians of Najran believed in the divinity of Jesus and considered him as the son of God. This is while, based on the explicit wording of the Koran (3:59), the Prophet considered him as a prophet and the servant of God. At the end of the discussions, the Prophet suggested that the two sides engage in mubahila (imprecation), in other words, to invoke divine malediction for the lying side. It was an old custom much used by the ancient prophets. Each of the disputant parties was required to swear a solemn oath that they were on the side of the truth, calling on God to wreak His vengeance on them if they lied. In short, mubahila was a custom to invoke the curse of God on the liar. The following verse was revealed in this regard:

"But whoever disputes with you in this matter after what has come to you of knowledge, then say: come let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and our nafse and your nafse, then let us be earnest in prayer, and pray for the curse of God on the liars." (3:61) Only TRUTHFUL in the eyes of Allah and do lanat on the liars. Who is the prophet took... Himself, Ali, Fatima, Hussan and Hussain to do lanat of the untruthful.

Companion in the Cave and Migration story: who is the Imam ul Matakeen.... one who said that I will lay down in your bed and am read to give my life for Allah so you can reach madina safely. The one who want to save his life by way of running away or the one who offered his life to save the prophet.

The Imamat in Prayers story by Dr. Tahir ul Qadri is not a complete story. Prophet Mohammad was ill and very sick. Hazarat Abu Bakar lead the prayers for 3 days. When the prophet found that out, he forced himself to the mosque and removed Abu Baqar and did the Imamaat and everyone said namaaz after the prophet. Can u provide one hadith in which Prophet said " Abu Bakar (RA) will be your Imam after me?

Here is the fact:
Though many of the Meccans had embraced Islam and called themselves Muslims they still worshipped their idols secretly and performed many of their old rites which Islam had forbidden. The Prophet (S.A.W) received a revelation in the form of Sura Baraat from Allah forbidding these people from doing such unIslamic rites. As the Prophet (S.A.W) himself could not go to Mecca he deputed Abu Bakr to carry the Sura to Mecca and recite it before the pilgrims, and explain to them its significance and its meanings. Abu Bakr taking his friend Umar and some three hundred people with him left for Mecca. The Prophet (S.A.W) also gave him two hundred camels to sacrifice them on his behalf. Hardly Abu Bakr had gone some distance when the Prophet (S.A.W) received another revelation from Allah asking the Prophet (S.A.W) to either proceed himself with the mission or send somebody who was "from him. As the Prophet (S.A.W) could not go himself he asked Ali (A.S.) to rush and take the Sura Baraat from Abu Bakr and fulfil the mission himself. The Prophet (S.A.W) also gave his own camel Ghadzba to Ali (A.S.) so that it may take Ali (A.S.) faster to catch Abu Bakr. The Prophet (S.A.W) also instructed Ali (A.S.) to take Abu Bakr with him, but if he refuses to accompany him then ask him to return.

Ali (A.S.) met Abu Bakr(RA)at Ara and gave him the Prophet (S.A.W)’s message. Abu Bakr(RA) though handed over the Sura to Ali (A.S.) but refused to accompany him and taking Umar with him returned to the Prophet (S.A.W) to ask him as to why did the Prophet (S.A.W) humiliate him. Abu Bakr was so hurt by this act of the Prophet (S.A.W) that he broke down when he came before him. The Prophet (S.A.W) replied, "I have acted as per the orders of Allah." [Khasaes-e-Nisaee page 62].
Ali (A.S.), on reaching Kaaba, read Sura Baraat to the pilgrims and declared, "I have been ordered by the Prophet (S.A.W) to tell you :- (1) That no one shall henceforth go round the Kaaba in nude.
(2) That all the agreements signed by the Prophet (S.A.W) with many of the tribes stand cancelled from today.
(3) That from this year no infidel will be allowed to visit the Kaaba."

There are hundered of Ayat on Ahlaybat in Quran I will quote you few. Read whole surrah Dehar ( surah Insan surah 76) I do not ask anything from you, except the love of my kinship(family 42: 43)
3. Your Wali (guardian) can be only Allah; and His messenger and those who believe, who establish worship and pay the poor-rate while they bow. (5:55)

Allah only desires to keep away the uncleanness from you, O People of the House (Ahlul'bayt)! and to purify you a thorough purification." (33:33)

I am the City of Knowledge and Ali is the door, Looking at Ali's face is Abadaat, Ali the Haq, Ali is the Sarat ul Mustakeem, Ali flesh is my flesh, Ali blood is my blood and Ali's soul is my soul. Whoever hurts Ali hurts me. Ali is the commander of faithfuls, Ali is the controller of Hozay Qasir, Fatima is the leader of women in Jinnah, Hassan and Hussain are the leaders of the youth in jinnah.

May Allah bless us all. Salam on Prophet and his Ahlaybaat and respect for the sahaba should be the motive and seeking guidance should ebthe desire.

Dear friends, as I understand it, the quran is very clear that wives are always ahlal bait of their husbands eg see follwoing verses.

028.029 YUSUFALI: Now when Moses had fulfilled the term, and was travelling with his family, he perceived a fire in the direction of Mount Tur. He said to his family: "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; I hope to bring you from there some information, or a burning firebrand, that ye may warm yourselves."

026.170 YUSUFALI: So We delivered him and his family,- all

026.171
YUSUFALI: Except an old woman who lingered behind.

029.032 YUSUFALI: He said: "But there is Lut there." They said: "Well do we know who is there : we will certainly save him and his following,- except his wife: she is of those who lag behind!"

066.010
YUSUFALI: Allah sets forth, for an example to the Unbelievers, the wife of Noah and the wife of Lut: they were (respectively) under two of our righteous servants, but they were false to their (husbands), and they profited nothing before Allah on their account, but were told: "Enter ye the Fire along with (others) that enter!"

The quran is clear that wives of the prophets are their ahllal bait even if they are disbelievers and are punished by allah because of their disbelief.

What is special about our prophet and his wives is that there is no such exception as we are told about regarding wives of noah and lot or son of noah.

This means that all of ahlal bait of the prophet are fine people without exception because none is excluded from so called tat-heer verse as is the case with wives of other prophets, so their righteousness is guarntied by allah. If anyone tries to show otherwise on basis of any reports they would seem unreliable because they will be contradicting the quran the source that has foundational authority in islam.

So if there is any verse in the quran about any exception I will appreciate it if it was brought to my attention by anyone so that I could correcrt myself accordingly.

One may bring up fight between wife of the prophet ayesha and his son in law ali ibn abu taalab, that in my view does not exclude them from being good people because their intensions were honourable and good. The example the quran gives us is the way moses held aron by his beard.

020.094 YUSUFALI: (Aaron) replied: "O son of my mother! Seize (me) not by my beard nor by (the hair of) my head! Truly I feared lest thou shouldst say, 'Thou has caused a division among the children of Israel, and thou didst not respect my word!'"

This shows that misunderstanding can happen to anyone at any time and once it is clear things are back to normal ie good people do not hold on to something that goes wrong from time to time.

There is very good lesson for us all in this as well ie not do things that divide us and instead look for ways towards unity.

regards and all the best.

Brother Malik 485... wives are not included in ahlaybaat. Two hadiths on that one from fatima and one from ashya both saying that prophet said my ahlaybaat are ALI ,FATIMA, HASAN and HUSSAIN who all are purified by Allah. I will give you what hazarat Ashya saddiqa (RA)
said:

Brother atensari... Dr. Israr is wrong. hadith of hazarat asysha is clear. She could have said that wives are included too. She didn't.

Brother Babadeena.... Ali was taken as a nafas, we all have one. You are different and your nafas is inside you. The word in arabic is used as bring your Nafas and we bring our Nafas and Prophet took ALI. Secondly Whole surah Al Insaan has more than 20 Ayats alone. I will not spend time to quote u all. Here is a hint: Ibna Abbas said: there are more than 300 Ayat on Ali in the Quran ( Khutaba Bagdadi tran Ismial bin Muhammad shumara 3275, History of Badgad, volume 6 page 221, Sk. Salaman Hanfi in book yanaba al mauda chapter 42, page 148, Sayuti, history of Qhalatif page 172, Ibna Hijar in sawayaq page 76).
Yazeed bin Romaan stated in a natation that the amount of ayat that came in shan of ALi can never be matched by anyone.
