What do you mean by faith in the unity of divine revelations. Yes we do believe that divine revelations have same character like Actual Bible but do you believe also that currently Hindu scriptures are divine too .Even Ghenghiz khan believed in One God was his belief based on divine message . Are Hindus also people of book ,they have perhaps biggest number of yogis and meditators .
To confuse Muhammed Islam with Sufism or spiritualism is dangerous trend , after all was not prophet of Islam not meditating before prophethood ,The revelation of O Kambal wali seems to make us think that Allah dissaproved of the path he without prophethood till then was following as Allah had better prescription and message for him and mankind .
Sometimes when one is confused it is better to look at a wider picture. The Sufi saints were very hardcore about the Unity of One God so there is no way they would allow any polytheistic belief to come into their life or teachings. What they were good at was listening to people with polytheistic beliefs and then guiding them by telling them that a lot of what they believe in is true (for example all religions discourage lies, fraud, violence against fellow men etc) and that there are some parts of their belief that they can change to become even better. This attitude endeared them to people who would flock to listen to them and their beliefs because they were not looked down upon nor their original beliefs mocked.
It is a fallacy to believe that the saints taught anything other than the message of Islam. The innovations in practices are mostly due to the lack of knowledge among people who have made the saints into superhuman beings. That fault doesn't lie with the saints.
