Not many Muslims know about the word Messiah or Maseeh nor they seems to care about it. In Quran it is used for only one prophet, ISA A.S.
Almost in every religion there is a concept of battle between Good vs Evil that will going to happen near end times. Masih(Christ) and Masih Dajjal (AntiChrist) will face each other and finally Dajjal will be killed.
When you start doing comparative religion study you start to realize how important is the role of the messiah as Abrahamic religions are mostly divided because of this fact.
Jews at the time of Hazrat ISA A.S were waiting for messiah to come and fulfill the prophecies foretold in their scriptures (old testament). Despite seeing so much miracles and everything from ISA A.S they refused him as messiah as he according to them didn't fulfill all of the prophecies including one of the prophecy that messiah will rule the world. They knew that If we are able to kill ISA A.S, he cannot be a messiah as messiah cannot be killed until he rule the world and create future age of perfection which will unite humanity as one.
One thing is clear from Jews perspective, Messiah cannot die before fulfilling the prophecies.
As per Quran, ISA A.S was indeed messiah. The Jews at that time didn’t identify him because of their own wrongdoings. Allah raised him up alive and saved him from crucifixion when Jews tried to kill him.
Let us analyze this whole concept from all Abrahamic religion and Qadiyaniat perspective to better understand the logical reason why Islam is true in every way regarding messiah and ISA A.S.
Jews: Waiting for the messiah since more than 2000 years. They rejected Jesus but to this day they still cry for their messiah to come who will rule the world.
Christians: Christians like Muslims believe some of the prophecies will be fulfilled after ISA A.S return. They accepted ISA A.S as messiah but they believe he gave his life for the sake of mankind sin, this way he saved everyone who believe in this ultimate sacrifice that he gave on crucifixion.
For argument sake if ISA A.S died on the cross as per Christians, then Jews were right in crucifying him as ISA A.S didn’t fulfil many Old testament prophecies including the ruling over the world.
Qadiyanis: The whole messiah concept is almost like demolished which was totally inlined in case of Judism, Christianity and Islam. They say ISA A.S died in Kashmir and then Mirza Ghulam was also messiah and ISA A.S and he died also. So messiah died two times without doing any prophecies that were foretold.
Islam: Allah saved ISA A.S from crucification by not crucifying him on the cross and he will return as Messiah and kill AntiChrist and will do his unfinished job of ruling the world for 40 years (as per one of the Hadith). Allah will never break his promise of the prophecy he gave to “Sabqa Ummat-e Muslima”. Messiah has to come and he has to do his job before dying. Otherwise he cannot be a messiah if he dies before fulfilling his job. That is why he was raised up alive so that he can perform unfinished job.
Now if you see Jews position they rejected the real messiah and on Christ return, they will do the same and accept Anti-Christ as their Christ/Messiah.
Christians whole concept of sacrifice and ISA A.S dying doesn't make any sense as Jews can argue that we crucified messiah and he didn’t fulfill our prophecies we have to wait for another messiah to come.
Qadiyaniyat is totally exposed and contradicting all the religions in this concept.
