You create hullabaloo of threat from Pakistan and amass your forces at its border and wait for more than one year to find an empty space for launching the offensive. The Mumbai incident is under way, terrorists are not yet killed, Ajmal Kasab is not yet held, you start crying in louder voice 'look, it is Pakistan', you start talking of teaching Pakistan a lesson and then you stall the peace process and start building pressure from all sides to bring Pakistan to its knees.
You are everywhere, you justify your interference in Balochistan as a consequence of Pakistan's interference in Kashmir, so you publicly admit that you are physically involved in the ongoing insurgent movements, as well as harbouring, funding and arming the terrorists no matter they are Taliban. You plan to enhance your ingress in Afghanistan, increase your consulates along Pakistan border, open training camps to infiltrate terrorists in FATA, create influence in Kabul's government, offer training and coaching facilities to Afghan personnel, penetrate into the Afghan intelligence RAAM, and vow to make Pakistan sandwiched between the hammer and anvil from east and west - yet you claim that you are not Pakistan-centric. You always drumbeat that Pakistan is far less a threat for you than China, but you never dare to amass your troops along Chinese border, never dared to even dream of challenging China, because you know what dire consequences you would face. Instead you turn all your guns to Pakistan, exaggerating the threat from nuclear Pakistan in order to fetch arms, ammunitions, armoury and war machinery from the world to run their military industry as well. Pakistan has never attacked you, never challenged you, never tried to refrain from holding talks with you; yet you claim Pakistan is not willing for talks. Whenever you desire you start blaming of infiltrations from across the border and what not. Yet you tell the world that look Pakistan is India-centric. May I ask you, who is fanning terrorism in Pakistan?
Pakistan is India-centric because you Indians don't come out of your Pakistan-centric phobia. On March 27 you test-fired two nuclear capable missiles. Isn't the range and load of your missiles Pakistan-specific? You are piling up arms and weapons from everywhere, recently you have entered into agreement with Russia. Already you have defense agreement with Israel and US. You are bigger in size and have everything in hand to target Pakistan but it is you who drumbeat threat from Pakistan, and force us not to think India-specific? It is for Pakistanis, its media and intelligentsia, the people and civil society not to live in illusions and face the reality on ground, the enemy is enemy, the enemy is working day and night to eliminate us from the map of the world, and they are asking us to think beyond Indian threat? I think Gen Kayani has rightfully succeeded in convincing the world that our existential threat from India is our major concern, if this is addressed, Pakistan and the region would then be able to move forward in economic development and other improvements. The recent strategic dialogue has proved that the US no longer stresses upon Pakistan on its policy towards India because they are now privy to the reality on ground.
