In any case, wasn't the whole raison d'etre for the VNC to fix the economy and reduce "menghai"? Not worked out too well has it....people are actually remembering PTI govt as the "good ole days"...

PTI made a mistake not going to the IMF immediately in 2018, and PDM repeated that mistake but with tenfold more adverse consequences.

The problem for PDM is not you and me debating who is more responsible, but their problem is convincing the street that PTI is also responsible for their mistakes, and trying to get votes with that narrative.....

اصل بات جو میں کرنا چاہتا ہوں وہ کافی ڈرانے والی ہے -وہ یہ کہ باجوے نے بولنا شروع کر دیا ہے - کل وہ جیدے چنگڑ نہیں بلکہ اپنے دوسرے لیترنے آفتاب اقبال کے منہ سے بولا ہے اور اسے بولا جیسے قبر پھاڑ کے کوئی مردہ بولا - کیا کہا اس نے - خد ہی سن لیں - لیکن کہا وھی کچھ ہے جو میں پچھلے چند دنوں سے کیہ رہا ہوں کہ اب لندن پلان کھلے ہی کھلے - اگلوں نے کھل کے بولنا شروع کر دیا ہے کہ انہوں نے قوم پر یہ منحوس بلا نازل کیسے کروائی تھی - اب اتنا کھل جانے کے بعد اگلے اس کو رہنے کیسے دیں گے ؟ یہ کافی سوچنے والی بات ہے - اس سوچ کا نتیجہ یہی نکلتا ہے کہ ​

Did replacing Miftah with Dar make things better or worse? It's a simple question....

You say landmines, but lets not forget PDM choose to bring the VNC and take over. Were they not aware of these landmines?

They seemed to be if you listen to Miftah before VNC, where he kept saying he had all the solutions and will reduce dollar rate etc etc...and then when miftah was making the right moves, they replace him with that genius Dar, who apparently thought miftah was rubbish and HE had all the solutions....

Easy to blame PTI for everything, but PDM inability to handle the solution when they choose to take on the problem, cannot easily be blamed on PTI....
