No Mr. General...it's actually other way round....

The General's statement could be correct for short period... but for long period it's actually its other way around.

Army is the source of all detoriation in Pakistan.
Army is the main hurdle in the implementation of constitution, law and order and justice system which has lead to all chaos in the country.
Army should be treated as an institution not state. State is only elected Government through free and fair elections. It is most sacred responsibility of the institutions to conduct free and fair elections.

In Pakistan the generals run a state within a state. They should work under civilian government but the civilian government works under the generals. There are many reasons why generals don’t want to be answerable to elected governments. If they are not answerable to anyone then they can siphon money from the exchequer, take kickback and commission from defence contracts, the can hide their assets in Pakistan and abroad.I wonder how many generals managed to settle abroad after retirement. How do they manage to buy properties and maintain a high life style?.
