What are forums for??

I dont understand what forum's for ??? simply a place where people share there views on different issues, those issues mostly sensitive too because its easy to discuss in forum, these forum's are for sharing and gaining information some of them maybe get hurt but why we take things personal atleast in forums ???

You are right dear kami, the forum should be used for sharing ideas and view points. Things should be questioned and answered freely. That is how one can reach the best possible conclusion regarding a point. Unfortunately, some people here are not civilized yet nor have any idea how to participate with others in a sensible way. Ham baher ki ladaee apne ghar main laane waale log hen.

Hopefully as education takes root things will get better with time if educated people start pulling their weight. We are letting ignorant people lead us so result is obviously chaos.

This is in context with some post or thread deleted on this forum...(such issues can always be solved with the moderator or concern guys on one on one level )
i do agree that forum is for free exchange of ideas and views ... but at the very same time there are few sensitive issue which i guess should not be discussed openly not on this but on any forum.....if you say for instance religious faith and ideology, social values, issues directly related to sovereignty of this country. and someone's personal life of course... for if you guys want this forum to show the mirror image of some yahoo chat room then i can't say much...
