Wether music should be the part of this site or not?..Your opinion....
To all respected members of this forum..
As this site of ours is getting lots of membership only because of its unique name siasat.pk and all users visit this site as a very serious discussion forum as compare to other forums..
I have deeply concerens about some music posts in continuous manners from last few days..There are so many tragic incidents are taking place with muslims in Pakistan and around the world and also being discussed in this forum..and suddenly someone posts music (just for change)..Isnt it a joke with all those our brothers and sisters who are suffering with ongoing circumstances ?...Our serious members do not want to make this serious site a music hub or entertainment site..
For music and other kind of stuff there are so many other sites available and if anyone wants to share or listen music then they shouldnt disturb this serious forum..and i wont quote Quranic Verses and Ahadees about music because every user may have different opinion (if he is not a muslim)..

Dont forget.. your vote can make this site a Unique and best plateform for discussion..

Poll: Should Admin allow music on this site?

Re: Wether music should be the part of this site?

Yes, music should be allowed.

1) You can always go to the relevant sections (as already suggested)
2) I hope that this forum though serious should most of all remain open, free, and non-coercive.

Brother, your above statement is very rigid indeed.

You should understand that there are two different Scholastic opinions among Muslims about the issue of music. Everyone can practice according to his opinion.

If video is uploaded in Random video section, there shouldn't be any problem for our members who are only here for Siasi discussion as long as the lyrics of video are not vulgar.

A big NO

and why NO, here is the answer:

Allah says in Quran:
????????????? ????? ???????? ????????????? ????? ??????????? ????? ????????? ?????????????? ?????????? ??????? ????? ??????? ??????? ??????????
And help one another in goodness and piety, and do not help one another in sin and aggression; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is severe in requiting (evil).

Rasoolullah (peace be upon him) said:
???? ????? ???????? ????????? ??????????????? ???????? ?????? ???? ?????????? ????????????? ?????? ???? ?????????? ???????????? ???????? ???????? ???????????
"Whoever among you sees wrongdoing, let him rectify it with his hand. If he is unable, then with his tongue. And if he is incapable of that then with his heart and that is the weakest level of faith."
(Sahih Muslim)

Re: Wether music should be the part of this site?

As I mentioned earlier in this post that One opinion of Islamic Scholars is about the permissibility of music as long as Lyric (Kalam) is not ill-mannered.

Following Video clips of TV program will be helpful to educate ourselves regarding second approach:

Some scholars allow it and some dont. Many sunnies and shias allow it while most of the wahabies dont allow it. So you can not say Islam dont allow it.

Translation by Yusuf Ali:But there are, among men, those who purchase idle tales, without knowledge (or meaning), to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah and throw ridicule (on the Path): for such there will be a Humiliating Penalty.
(Qur’aan 31:6)

Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: that he heard the Prophet saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection." (Sahih Bukhari Book #69, Hadith #494v)
