The PDM parties who lost the elections and have now forced through constitution amendments that will make the judiciary subservient. This is very bad news for all decent Pakistanis. The Supreme court and independent judiciary has now been finished. It is heart breaking to see corrupt dynastic parties such as PPP and PMLN lead Pakistan along with Asim Munir into a hole.
But the bigger question with all this injustice happening? Why has no country stood up for democracy in Pakistan, PTI and Imran Khan? Has Imran Khan annoyed all the western world, China and the Arab countries so much that no one wanted to stand up for him? Did Imran Khan get too carried away with the Russia issue and the visit to Russia with the Ukraine war being launched on the same day cause him immense damage, and led to his cards being marked by western nations?
Modi undertook visits to Ukraine and has used diplomacy to balance its interests between Russia and the West. Could this call in to question how Imran Khan has been poor at diplomacy. Secondly has his soft corner for the Taliban also led to his image being damaged in the Western International community?
Could have Imran Khan been more diplomatic to balance and manage ties with the western democracies? This poor diplomacy has surely given space to the PPP, PMLN and the Military to use as a tool against him. With Pakistan being so dependent on IMF, loans, EU and US export market and Investment anyone who appears to be hostile to western interests is not going to gain their favour. Surely this calls for better diplomacy to rebuild ties with the west.
Afterall, Pakistan does need an honest leader like Imran Khan
