'The problem with the rat race is that even if you win you are still a rat' who does not dream to b a part of barca or RM in his career? And for spurs it takes may be more than a decade to reach that stature... And secondly, spurs would make big money in this deal which they would not miss at all.

Transfer market has gone crazy with average and unknown players going for 30 million. This makes a complete mockery of the so-called FIFA fair play rules. Bale who I consider to be average will soon leave which is why Spurs are spending heavily in the market. Real Madrid are more of a political party then Football club who spoil players careers draining all their confidence then letting them go on the cheap after two years or something. Bale should remain with Spurs or even the EPL otherwise will end up like Owen, McManaman and Beckham to name a few who foolishly joined Real Madrid only to see their career's take a nosedive.
