LA ILAHA IL ALLAH MUHAMMADUR RASOOL ALLAH

THERE IS NO GOD ONLY ALLAH, MUHAMMAD
IS THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH

INTRODUCTION

La Ilaha Il Allah Muhammadur Rasool Allah (There is no god only Allah, Muhammad is the Rasool (Messenger) of Allah) is also known as Kalima Tayyab. Kalima Tayyab is the testification of faith in Islam. A person cannot be considered to be a Muslim if he/she does not believe in the words of this Kalima. To become a Muslim, a person must say this Kalima with total belief. Another point about this Kalima is the name given to it, which is Tayyab. Tayyab means Purity. By uttering this Kalima a person is purified from disbelief. An impure person becomes pure. This purification is spiritual.

The Messenger of Allah added, "There will come out of Hell (Fire) everyone who says: 'La ilaha il Allah,' and has in his heart good equal to the weight of a barley grain. Then there will come out of Hell (Fire) everyone who says: ' La ilaha il Allah,' and has in his heart good equal to the weight of a wheat grain. Then there will come out of Hell (Fire) everyone who says: 'La ilaha il Allah,' and has in his heart good equal to the weight of an atom (or a smallest ant)."
When the death of Abu Talib approached, the Messenger of Allah came to him and said, "Say: La ilaha il Allah, a word with which I will be able to defend you before Allah."

[Sahih Bukhari]

THE MEANING OF: LA ILAHA IL ALLAH

Let us start by looking at the literal translation of the words LA ILAHA IL ALLAH.
LA means NO
ILAHA means GOD
IL means ONLY or BUT
ALLAH means ALLAH

THE MEANING OF: MUHAMMADUR RASOOL ALLAH

MUHAMMAD means MUHAMMAD
RASOOL means RASOOL (Loosely translated to MESSENGER) (OF)
ALLAH means ALLAH

Every Muslim will translate MUHAMMAD RASOOL ALLAH to mean Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah

There are no problems here. Except in comprehension. Some Muslims do not even realise what they are uttering. They are not paying attention to the words of the Kalima. They are veiled from the meaning of the Kalima.

When someone utters YA MUHAMMAD (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) others will quickly admonish the utterer that he/she cannot say YA Muhammad(Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) . Why?

The admonishers believe that Muhammad(Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) the Messenger of Allah is not present with us in this world. We can only use YA for someone who is present. Therefore it is all right to say YA ALLAH, but it is not right to say YA MUHAMMAD(Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) .

Let me reiterate what I have already written in the above section (LA ILAHA IL ALLAH). To become a Muslim, a person must first of all say the Kalima Tayyab LA ILAHA IL ALLAH MUHAMMADUR RASOOL ALLAH with total belief. A person who does not believe in this Kalima is not a Muslim. The translation of this Kalima is:

THERE IS NO GOD ONLY ALLAH, MUHAMMAD IS THE RASOOL (MESSENGER) OF ALLAH.

In this section we are dealing with the second part of the Kalima. MUHAMMADUR RASOOL ALLAH. Literally translated means MUHAMMAD MESSENGER OF ALLAH. Grammatically translated the meaning is:

MUHAMMAD IS THE RASOOL (MESSENGER) OF ALLAH.

If we look at the literal translation, it clearly states Muhammad the MESSENGER OF ALLAH. There is no mention of time in relation to Past, Present or Future. The grammatically correct translation states:

Muhammad IS the Rasool (messenger) of Allah.
Muhammad IS the Rasool (messenger) of Allah.
Muhammad IS the Rasool (messenger) of Allah.

Is MUHAMMAD IS THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH in the present tense?
Yes or No?
Does MUHAMMAD IS THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH not mean this very moment?
Yes or No?

Yet the admonishers do not even realise what they are saying when reciting the Kalima Tayyab. If a Muslim today cannot say Ya Muhammad (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) he cannot say Muhammad IS the messenger of Allah by the same reasoning. I challenge anyone to change IS to WAS. Whoever does that will be a non believer (Kafir). The door of prophetship is closed. Muhammad (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) is the seal of all the Prophets. He (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) is the Messenger of Allah to all those who are here today and for those who are yet to be born. That implies today, tomorrow and the rest of time which is eternity. MUHAMMAD (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) is the messenger of Allah even in the next world because we the Muslims will still be known as Muhammad's (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) Ummah or
community.

Although we cannot see Muhammad (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) physically, spiritually He (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) is always present. As far as the souls are concerned, the very first Soul, or Ruh, or Light that Allah created was the Light of Muhammad (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) . That Light (Ruh / Soul) said "Subhan Allah" for 70,000 years. Today some of the Muslims say Hadrat Muhammad (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) is not present, so we cannot say YA MUHAMMAD(Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) . Muhammad (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) was PRESENT (Hadar) even before the creation of heavens and earth, how can he not be PRESENT now! He (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) is the First and the Last Prophet (Awal and Akhir these are also among the names of the Muhammad (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) ). Those who say it is wrong to say Ya Muhammad (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) only think in terms of a physical body. By the same logic, has anyone seen Allah Subhana Wa Ta Ala physically? Yet we say Ya Allah.

When Hadrat Adam (Alaih-e-Salaam) was sent from heaven to earth for eating the forbidden fruit he repented for 330 years. Then Allah gave Adam (Alaih-e-Salaam) guidance and he remembered The Kalima he had seen inscribed in heaven.

LA ILAHA IL ALLAH MUHAMMADUR RASOOL ALLAH.

When Adam (Alaih-e-Salaam) recited the Kalima, Allah accepted his prayer and forgave Adam (Alaih-e-Salaam). Even Adam (Alaih-e-Salaam) had to say:

THERE IS NO GOD ONLY ALLAH, MUHAMMAD IS THE RASOOL (MESSENGER) OF ALLAH.

Why did He (Adam Alaih-e-Salaam) not say Muhammad WILL BE the messenger of Allah?
Was Muhammad (Sallallah-u-Alaih-e-Wasallam) present then or not? You can answer this question for your self. Only Allah Knows Best!

May Allah guide us to the right path, the path of those on whom Allah has bestowed His grace - AMEEN.

Darood (Blessings) and Salaam (Peace) on Muhammad, his Family, and his Companions.

Masha'ALLAH, a very nice article..........i had never heard or thought of it like this.
May we all become true servants of ALLAH and true followers of the best of creation, Hazrat Muhammad (sallallahu alehi wassalam)

My dear brother Murshad Jee,

Can you say "You have to believe otherwise you are not a Muslim??." In other words you are declaring everybody "KAFIR" who does not believe your point of view, which include most of the islamic world including Dr. Israr Ahmad and Imam-e-Kaaba. Could you please find any reference from Qur'aan and authentic Ahadeeths that do you have the authority to say that?

We have to be very careful in Islamic believes. Christians exaggerated so much regarding Prophet Essa (Alaihimus salaam) that they regarded the Prophet Essa (Alaihimus salaam) as Son of God (Nauzobillah).
O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His apostles. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah. Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. ( ???? ?????? , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #171)

Narrated 'Umar: I heard the Prophet saying, "Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians praised the son of Mary, for I am only a Slave. So, call me the Slave of Allah and His Apostle. " (Shahih Bukhari:Book #55, Hadith #654)

???? ???????? ????? ?????? ??????????? ??????? ??????? ???????? ???????????? ???????? ??????? ? ????? ????? ??????? ??????? ??????? ???????????? ??????? ???????? ????? ???????? ??????????? ??????? ???????
Translation by Yusuf Ali : Say: "I am but a man like yourselves, (but) the inspiration has come to me, that your Allah is one Allah. whoever expects to meet his Lord, let him work righteousness, and, in the worship of his Lord, admit no one as partner.
??? ?? ?? ??? ??? ?????? ???? ???? ?? ??? ???? ??? ??? ?? ???? ?? ?? ?????? ????? ??? ?? ????? ?? ??? ?? ???? ???? ?? ?? ???? ?? ???? ???? ?? ??? ?????? ?? ???? ??? ??? ??? ???? ?? ?? ????? ??? ??? ?? ???? ?? ?????
Al-Kahf, Sura #18 | verse 110

???? ???????? ????? ?????? ??????????? ??????? ??????? ???????? ???????????? ???????? ??????? ?????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ? ???????? ????????????????
Translation by Yusuf Ali: Say thou: "I am but a man like you: It is revealed to me by Inspiration, that your Allah is one Allah. so stand true to Him, and ask for His Forgiveness." And woe to those who join gods with Allah,-
?? ?? ?? ??? ??? ?? ??? ??? ?? ???? ??? ???? ??? ???? ??? ??? ??? ??? ?? ?? ?????? ????? ??? ?? ?? ????? ?? ??? ????? ??? ??? ??? ?? ?? ????? ????? ??? ?????? ?? ??? ????? ??
(Fussilat 41:6)

Prophet Muhammad is a human beings as mentioned above in Quraan. Allah created him as a human being. He has flesh and bone. The proof is that Allah mentioned in Qur'aan as mentioned above. So he is a human being, but the best of Allahs creations!!.

Referring to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) Allah, Most High, says,
??????? ????? ?????? ??? ??????? ??????? ???????? ???????? ?????? ????? ??????? ??????? ??????????? ???????? ???????? ??????? ???????? (Al-Ahzab 33: 21)
Translation by Yusuf Ali: Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.
????? ?????? ??? ???? ???? ??? ???? ????? ?? ?? ???? ??? ????? ?? ???? ????? ?? ??? ???? ?? ??? ??? ???? ??

Allah has sent all human Prophets to human being including The Last Prophet Muhammad. As mentioned in the above verse Allah sent Prophet Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) as pattern of conduct. Allah did not sent any Angel (or anybody super human) as Prophet to human. Just imagine if there was any super human sent to any nation as Prophet how can one expect from that nation to follow or imitate the conduct of a super human.

The Kalima LA ILAHA IL ALLAH MUHAMMADUR RASOOL ALLAH - THERE IS NO GOD ONLY ALLAH, MUHAMMAD IS THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH will remain as it is for ever. The word is does not prove that Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) is present every where (Hazir Nazir). To be present every where is the property of ONLY Allah. Prophet Muhammad were never present every where (Hazir Nazir) during his life time and same is the case after death. Please correct me ONLY by presenting Ahadeeth from Sahah-e-Satta (???? ???). The only reason is that these books of Hadeeth (???? ???) have mostly authentic Ahadeeth and are mostly accepted by majority of Muslims around the world.

For I am just His slave, so say, the slave of Allah and His Messenger." (narrated by al-Bukhari, 4/142, no. 3445; al-Fath, 6/551), i.e., do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians exaggerated in praising the Messiah and venerated him until they worshiped him instead of Allah

The reason to emphasis so much on correct islamic believes is to warn Muslim brothers so that they do not fall into trap of people like Yousuf Kazab . So that they can understand if Prophet Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) was not given the power of unseen how can Yousuf Kazab can have that power. But Kazabs tricks here, instead of saying that they have the power of unseen they say that Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) came into their dream and told them about unseen. When somebody tries to correct them and say "Silsila of Wahi (??? ?? ?????) has been discontinued since the death of Prophet Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????)". The Kazab would deny and say that Prophet Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) is not dead but alive and "Hazir Nazir". Which is a wrong believe according to Qur'aan and Sunnah.

The very serious implication of holding wrong beliefs is that many hopefuls, like Yousuf Kazab, have launched their religious careers (fan following) by making this claim. Almost all our Sufi saints have established their credibility, and their thrones, by doing this. They first claim to have seen the Prophet (??? ???? ???? ???? ????), then they say they are in direct contact with him, then they claim they have been divinely inspired, and then they build their economic empires which they leave to their successors.
