Hopefully the money will come from looters like your daddy Nawazoo, and daddy Zardari. Remaining can come from other uncles and relatives. If it is still short, we can conquer and sell Delhi fort etc. etc. etc.

Just small worry, this project should not same BRT.
If there is no corruption in BRT then why PTI govt got stay order ????
They have a stay order on Foreign funding case.
If they are clean in both cases, then FIA should allow to investigate these cases.

I am not against that at all; any one from Musharaf to Nawaz would have built this dam if we had money in past. Bhasha Dam was started by Nawaz in 1998 and since then everyone has done a small work but significant progress was never achieved due to funds shortage. We need at least 4 billion dollars upfront to start the detail design & construction. It is still a big money which was extremely hard even before corona-virus. M1 line was part of CPEC but we only need it when CPEC roads are functional and we want to achieve enhanced efficiency by train. We cannot afford to spend 8 billion dollars to improve our existing infrastructure for domestic use only as not much benefits are expected. Its upfront cost is high too and we cannot stop work in the middle. Once contract is awarded company will built entire M1 Line.

ML1 will not be allowed to build by local thaikedars (Contractors) like BRT. It will be built by international companies although there is a 99% chance that Chinese companies will built that as they are providing loan for that as well.
