State never run corporations. Even in developed like USA F16 type fighters are being made by private sector. State must create a corporation and hand it over to private sector for further progress/management keeping conditions of bond under state interest.
Privatization must not be linked with commissions or corruption by authorities undertaking privatization or involved in privatization of national assets. It should be on merit and as per conditions of national interest of Pakistan.
Privatizations was being carried out in honest manner till Pervaiz Musharraf Martial Law. Pervaiz Musharraf looted and earned huge commission with corrupt practices in privatization.
Pervaiz Musharraf was very clever and sharp in this corruption. He created Gulf base companies and consortium with his son Bilal Musharraf. He fooled people of Pakistan and played clever, in none of company/consortium Bilal Musharraf shares exceeded maximum to 30%. Purpose was to depict company is not owned by Bilal Musharraf and he does not have major share even. That is how Musharraf family made huge money and property in UAE.
Example in this regard is PTCL. Now Musharraf League (Q League) criticize privatization of OGDCL being profitable national asset. Once ask them what about PTCL, it was most profitable, bust sold out to Bilal Musharraf backed Gulf consortium with force and on gun point.
Purpose behind this is to conclude that Privatization with fair rules of bossiness is good for country and let one who bought a company by paying huge money to manage it as he wish as per legal bond signed /undertaking given.
