A great majority of Muslims in the world are not indeed believers. They think of themselves as believers because they were born into the so-called Muslim families and are being charmed into thinking as such by the Mullahs just because they UTTER believe in God and His Messengers. Mullahs do so because of ignorance and because they want to keep their stranglehold on the masses and protect their false pride, honor, and financial interests. Therefore, the so-called Muslims of today are slaves of false tradition and blind following.

Bearded goat says that Allah has ordained the beard.
Watch from 2:15
and see how blatantly these mullahs lie and mislead the people.

PLEASE do not start a debate on these issues, use common sense, SUNNAT is a SUNNAT, not FARZ. And for any Sunnat when a person gets inspired he/she keeps on adopting every style of the person whom he/she is inspired from.
Our role model, the last messenger of ALLAH, prophet Muhammed (P.B.U.H) who is Rehmat al Il Alamin in Arabic, means mercy on this world and the afterworld. When people say mercy on this world about Prophet Muhammad it means that Allah sent down a person to restore peace on this world, we as Muslims try to adopt his kindness, his practices, his dressing style, his beard, his eating habits, etc., etc. But these things come with time when one learns more and more, so there is no such decree, and ALLAH has never ordered anything ALLAH has defined everything, explained the benefits in doing so, and punishments or consequences in not doing what Allah has advised the humankind. ALLAH wanted to create, so ALLAH created humankind, nothing is impossible for ALLAH, so if ALLAH wanted anything must, we could not go against that, but ALLAH has given choice to humans to live this life after explaining pros and cons.
SO USE COMMON SENSE, READ QURAN, UNDERSTAND IT, GET DIRECT TO ALLAH, ASK DIRECT, AND LISTEN TO WHAT ALLAH SAYS.

MAY ALLAH PROTECT US ALL.

If someone does not want to follow, that is his/her personal decision and choice. But twisting something clear as this to say "IT IS NOT SUNNAH" is absolutely wrong.

It shouldn't be forced upon either, but for God sake do not add/subtract or change just because you are not following certain Sunnah.

First of all each and everything the Prophet s.a.w said or did isn't a "sunnat" at the end of the day he was also a mortal human being.

Second. If you want to keep a beard as a sign of love and affection to the Prophet s.a.w no one is stopping you, but at the very least keep a proper well groomed beard, not like majority of moulvis and their followers where it seemed like there was a bomb explosion and the beard is scattered in all directions of various lengths ( like the moulvi is the first post ) with no mustache and as demonstrated that just makes you look like an ape. I think most men look very good in a well kept and groomed beard. But please none of this aftermath of a nuclear explosion on one's face.

Third and most important. Having a beard is no sign of being religious or pious and such moulvis always falsely pushing that a beard is a part of deen ( Sigh! ? ) and it's a must i.e fard and has to be kept at all costs. This is bidah and Kullu bidahtin dalalah, wa kullu dalalatin fin nar
