مسلم لیگ ن کے رہنما اور وزیراعظم کے معاون خصوصی رانا ثنا اللہ کہتے ہیں بانی پی ٹی آئی کی ٹوئٹ پر کہا کہ دعا گو ہوں کہ اللہ انہیں مجیب الرحمان جیسے انجام سے بچائے، وہ 13 سال سے کسی جماعت یا سیاسی رہنما سے بات چیت کو تیار ہی نہیں ہیں۔

انہوں نے کہا ماڈل ٹاؤن میں نواز شریف کسی سے ناراض نہیں ہیں، وفاق ہو یا پنجاب، کوئی بنیادی فیصلہ ان کی مشاورت کے بغیر نہیں ہوتا، نواز شریف نے پارٹی کو مقبول اور عوامی جماعت بنایا، وہ کسی سے نہیں روٹھے ، مکمل فعال اورمتحرک ہیں ۔
