Imagine if there is perfection, then it means there is no struggle, no ambition, no suffering and no conflict.

A Utopia would drive the purpose of humanity to a halt-- There will be no room for improvement.
Therefore, in a perfect world, imperfection is perfectly necessary.

In the backdrop of our recent and currently ongoing political scenario, it is time that we take a moment and reflect at it with an open mind.

What went wrong?

1. Lack of foresight and planning:

Crowds were lead with sheer enthusiasm and without the counterbalancing factor of wisdom.
This reeks desperation rather than a standing resolve.

I do not understand what made Bushra Bibi believe that she will give a chance to the authoritarian regime of form 47 and they will not indulge in any foul play?
They are here just because they are very good at it.

Why a consensus was not worked out beforehand and why Bushra Bibi bulldozed the other PTI leadership in all this?

There are reports that Khan agreed for a protest at Sangjani. If this is true, then what was the point of marching towards D-Chowk?

Wouldn't it be better that a power show was conducted at Sangjani and first see if the Government is getting ready for engaging in a political dialogue?

Because like it or not, this problem has to be resolved on the table. If anyone was thinking that the Govt is simply going to release Khan after seeing crowds at D-Chowk, was clearly mistaken, if not delusional.

A pit stop at Sangjani would have looked good on PTI's profile too, as they would have been posing themselves as law abiding peaceful protesters.

It would have also given PTI time to regroup, reform and study the movements of the Estb too. There would have been more clarity and strength, as in some time, crowds from Punjab would've had also joined in, or at least, PTI could give another call to start similar protests nationwide. This would've had diluted the stregth of Estb.

2. Lack of leadership:
Gandapur, who has already been characterized shoddy due to his recent past actions of disappearing from the crowd, was already a point of concern here, as much of PTI workers/protesters were in a state of mistrust. So, what was the point of giving him the lead here?

There is so much going on in my head right now, but this will get too lengthy for people here to read. Therefore, I am holding my other thoughts right now and may unravel them if the discussion extends to a fruitful debate.

Shocking. Law enforcement agencies have opened fire on peaceful innocent unarmed civilians exercising their democratic right on D chowk. Dozens reportedly killed. More news to follow.

These Paki kala coats are good for nothing.
It is high time they should collect all the imagery, videos, evidence and proper information of the Shuhada martyred thus far and make a case to the world legal entities including ICJ in Hague, the UN secy gen and all other bodies of the UN.
Similarly, PTI should approach every international forum to highlight this barbarism of Paki military and its stooges.

Sir Ji,

Sorry to digress, but with all due respect Sir, shall we go to the International establishment who is helpless in cases of Gaza and Kashmir? and expect them to do something about this?

Even more shocking is the attitude of the PTI Leadership, who thought this would not happen. Almost a display of lunacy to expect that this fascist regime of form 47 would bend over on moral grounds.

I think it is the PTI leadership who should think about it more than the establishment.

Disagree with you points. In any civilized or sane country, when this many people come out on the streets for their rights or with demands. Government initiates dialogue but since this is an undeclared Martial Law the Army fired its own people before they were the one loosing grip on power.

Unarmed Civilians do protests all over the world, even in EU. Did police open fire on protesters in Spain? Or in USA?

NO, because they still have freedom what's left of it.

When, under the law, the space of Sangjani was allotted for peaceful protests, then a march towards Isb was to be construed as an act of rebellion in any book of law.

and what was the plan?

That this fascist regime of form 47 will yield to the moral pressure of a protest?
what a folly, if not a moronic lunacy to have such expectations from this Govt.

Know your enemy and stop giving impertinent examples of USA or UK etc. We live in Pakistan..... wake up!
